Gut-bustingly hilarious!

You know that feeling when you hate an artist with a passion, but anyone who tries to talk smack about them is brushed aside as "trying to be cool" instead of allowed to explain why they despise them? I experience that feeling no longer since discovering YFBS. I no longer must carry my frustration with Nine Inch Nails and Metallica around in my head thanks to the endlessly entertaining waffling of Mark and Tyler.P.S.Hey, remember that time The Clash made a double album? And a triple album immediately after?

Super enjoyable

Two guys with a hilarious and painfully agreeable deconstruction of many bands that are liked by tons of people. I’d say it’s my favorite podcast to listen to. An episode on Sufjan Stevens or Ween would be highly appreciated

Funny & Educational

Great show that sneaks in music history along with hilarious criticism of overrated bands (which is pretty much every popular band). I’d love for them to ruin Steppenwolf for me

Nope!

Listened to a couple episodes. I really hope they are joking about liking Limp Bizkit so much. I just can’t take them seriously knowing that they might actually think that band is better than bands they rant about. It’s basically two dudes ranting about music you may or may not like. They don’t really say anything worth while, and it’s not even that funny. There are better podcasts about music out there. Don’t waste your time with this one.

I just found this podcast today and it’s hilarious, probably my favorite with music as the topic. An episode of the Grateful Dead would be rad!

Definitely worth it

Great podcast, great humor, amazing deconstructions of bands. If you could do an episode on Volbeat or another shorty buttrock band, that’d be great

Love it

These guys are hilarious. Their over the top skewering of bands that don’t deserve to be revered is such a fun listen. I often find myself saying “exactly!” when they roast classic bands. Keep it up! Please do Dave Matthews Band.

Self righteous and uninformed

These guys are tragically uniformed, yet self righteous and indignant. They trod no new ground as they do their uninteresting and horrible impressions of stale, decades-old tropes. These are the guys that think that they’re the smartest people in the room while they bore you tears, or drive you to anger as they haughtingly pontificate about the most mundane subjects while acting like they discovered the universal theory of everything.

Title.

I don’t regularly listen to the show, but I’ll catch up if all my other podcasts are caught up. The guys are never wrong about music. It goes by quick, it’s informative and it’s sometimes funny.

I’ve learned how stupid I am

I’ve always thought my music taste has sucked, so I’m very glad to finally have two professionals affirm my deepest suspicions. They have systematically targeted EVERY single one of my favorite bands (except for Coldplay, and I’m sure an episode on them is coming soon...) — Green Day, Weezer, Oasis, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, and R.E.M. — pulling back the curtain to reveal the rancid, vacuous bilge that defines my music taste. However, I think one thing might be amiss in their judgements: according to their all-knowing proclamations, enjoying each and every one of these bands renders me stupid. Stupidity is cumulative, so my combined mental retardation deriving from my terrible music taste should render me incapable of even writing this review. I don’t know how they managed to get that wrong, but I hope they keep this transgression in mind for future episodes. I daresay that when they do cover Coldplay, my mental faculties will have devolved to a point where I will no longer be able to count the number of episodes dedicated to Interpol. And then perhaps I will be too dumb to derive any pleasure at all from my favorite bands, which I think may be the true end goal of this podcast. Time will tell.

I hate 3 TEETH...

I can not stop laughing, Its like Randal and Archer have gotten together and give honest opinions about over-rated bands/musicians/artist. It is entertaining as it is informative and honest, I can't wait till they review 3 TEETH!!!
