Cuts thru the bull

I love how Christine tells like it is, no sugar coating. She’s authentic and makes you face the hard stuff along with the good. Warning-If you don’t want to feel a bit annoyed or overwhelmed, don’t listen! ;) It’s all part of the work and Christine is blunt but right. Love her practical advice, insightful information, and great interviews. I’ve enjoyed this show for over 2 years and I haven’t found another shamanic show quite as useful and interesting.

Christina's podcast moves my heart into a space of gratitude.

I am so grateful to have discovered this podcast and Christina. I discovered it around 2011 and when I did I felt as if I had found gold and yet, at the same time, I felt as if I had found what I didn't know I wanted. Every episode inspires me to take action in some way and to find courage to face whatever I am shying away from in myself and in my life. I found this podcast at a time when I was suffering from major soul loss, though at the time I did not know what I was experiencing had a name or was recognized as something that is possible. When I listened to the episodes about soul loss I was blown away that what I was experiencing not only was recognized as something real but that I could heal from it. Simply put, finding this podcast and Christina was a prayer answered for me, a miracle. No other show has moved or inspired me more deeply than this one. Christina is one beautiful and powerful spirit!

Love this podcast!

Hi apple, I can’t say enough great things about Christina Pratt overall, and this podcast is a staple! Here’s the thing though...before my iOS 12 update, I was working my way through the 2009 episodes. Now the archive starts at 2013. How can I access older episodes?

Grateful for Christina’s approach and rigor

I’ve been listening to Why Shamanism Now for the past six months and find it to be deeply useful and powerful. Christina is rigorous in her approach, and she covers a lot of ground, often with very informative guests. I’m a practicing hypnotist, and she has corroborated things I witness and experience with my clients in trance states. This, for me, has moved Shamanism out of the realm of secret esoteric knowledge, and into the realm of the practical and indeed necessary. Thank you for the beautiful show.

Life Saver

I find it telling that the only negative reviews are about the introduction length and "inhalation sounds" (which I have never noticed and makes me wonder if that reviewer suffers from misophonia.)I don't even know how to concisely state my gratitude for this podcast. I listen to a variety of spiritual material, but when I feel shaken, confused, or like I've lost myself, this is my go to and in a way where I know I will not be coddled with feel good material but grounded in the true dream time nature of reality and held accountable for my humanity. Any spiritual person who is ever contemplating suicide, I direct to this podcast. I don't know what else to say but Christina's generosity, integrity, humility and honesty set her apart from the many intelligent and soulful speakers and teachers. Thank you Christina.

Great Advice

I'm very grateful for the education I've received listening to this show! Her perspective is very grounded and her style is direct, authentic, sensible, and honest. I really appreciate the vast amounts of knowledge I've received by listening for a while. She really makes it applicable. And with the money thing...I don't think she is just scolding people. She just understands that there is a flow of energy when something is exchanged, and that if you're always receiving and not giving (she emphasizes that you can give in non-financial ways) you will not always value what you are receiving. A lot of people expect that spiritual practitioners should work for cheap or free, and that's not right. Sometimes people need a reminder about the way things work.

A gem of a podcast

This is one of the most high-value resources on the internet. Christina Pratt's personal integrity shines through in her incredible consistency and depth of understanding, and she helps bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and our modern world. Weighty discussions about the fantastical and the undefinable, without the "woowoo." So grateful for this podcast.

Lots of mouth smacking and constant inhalation sounds....If you have something worthwhile to say, please make it so sound-sensitive people can listen to you.
