Santino has great interactions/balance with the guests. He asks good questions, doesn’t interrupt incessantly, knows when to insert himself and his own stories, doesn’t repeat himself much over the long run. Love the pod and wouldn’t change a thing.

The way you talked to Sofia was very condescending. She was clearly drunk and insisting she leak personal details and let you search through her stuff felt exploitative.

The Sofia Franklyn episode was painful
I give Andrew some points just out of sympathy on this one. I actually like Sofia’s show but she sounded like she would have rather been anywhere but doing that interview. I’ve heard better chemistry in hostage videos. It may have been an impossible task, but when she was being so resistant to any real discussion of her feelings and answering 80% of the questions with “mmm-hmmm” you have to be able to read the room, switch gears, and change the cadence of the questions (Andrew’s style is “peppering” rapid pulse Q’s), maybe give them a longer build and stay away from the yes/no variety, lead with some “talk about that for a minute…” Q’s to see if she’ll loosen up.
