Bekah Merkle and Rachel Jankovic are two sisters getting together for a weekly coffee date (in the car) to chat about whatever issues happen to occur to them. They cover the waterfront of topics from confessing sins to sorting the laundry to what books they’re reading at the moment. Unscripted and unfiltered, these two NSA alums invite you to join them for a chat about what have you.

Theology in the day-to-day

I keep being surprised at the depth of insight these women have into mundane things I do every day. They are teaching me how to bring theology into my daily life. I’m so grateful. They feel like kindred spirits. I don’t have friends who like to sew or bake, and so I listen to this podcast and I feel like I do. 😊 and I learn about God in the middle of it.

Puts the heart back in me

Every time I listen - even to an episode I’ve heard before - I come away feeling joyful and content. They remind me just how good a thing I’ve got going here with my family and my home.

Thank You!

You ladies have been such a wonderful encouragement to me in my walk with Christ and the enrichment of my family. What a joy to glean wisdom from you both. Thank you for sacrificing time from your churches and families to share with us. It really is building us up as wives and mothers and women of faith and I am so thankful to nourish my soul with the goodness of Christ as a reflection of being spurned on in righteousness by you both. I so greatly benefitted from your mother’s books and now I get weekly-ish encouragement from sisters. Thank you for all that you do! God Bless!!

My favorite

I love this podcast and have listened to every episode several times. Well except for that one weird short one. I love their form of non pandering wisdom and teaching. If I wanted to hear how awesome I am I’ll go to a socialist convention or something. This is tough love. Don’t be lazy and get off your sorry butt and do your Godly duty. There are a few negative reviews about having to deal with the incessant laughing and unnecessary drivel. Is it there? Um, yes. But it makes you feel like you are having a conversation with dear friends and not being lectured by a 50 year old nun with the personality of Ben Stein. Their way of conveying a thought has a great level of creativity and finds a way to stick to you. I find myself repeating their stories to friends on what can only be assumed to be an annoyingly excessive level. Keep it up!

Adjust your attitude and get to work!

This podcast has been so influential in my life. Adjusting my attitude away from me and towards the God I love and serve has been game changing in my family. I have laughed myself to tears so many times. I have learned and relearned so much truth. I have been able to filter through the lies of the world so much easier. And I have gotten to work! Get out of the way, and do what God has called you to do! And listen to the podcast, it’s the most fun!

Solid Biblical Womanhood

Thank you What Have You for bringing the issues confronting godly women to the forefront in such an approachable, understandable, and hilarious, but most importantly, biblical way. Thank you that you seek to tell truth without compromise and do not compromise on biblical values. I am currently going back to listen to every episode....mostly because I need to know more about cloth napkins.

Fun, hilarious, helpful, and chock full of wisdom

These two women have created such great content together. If they don’t break down into hysterics at some point in the episode, it’s not a true episode of what have you. I love the wisdom they share, the tips, the stories, the inspiration, and the fun! Thank you Rachel and Rebekah!

Sisters!

I love these women. When they get laughing so hard that they become silent it makes me laugh to the point of tears. It reminds me of me and my sister, nobody in the world can make me laugh like my sister, and for no real reason. Besides all the laughing the information is totally edifying. Thank you ladies so much for all you give to us. Through the Wilson family we can see what it looks like when mothers and fathers are obedient to the Lord. It makes me strive to be better myself and to try to raise my kids the same way, to love the Lord your God with all your strength, with all your mind, with all your soul, with all your heart! ❤️ God Bless Rachel and Becka!

This is my favorite thing to do during my down time. I laugh hysterically but also encouraged and challenged in many ways! This is gospel centered and seriously not for the faint of heart. My life has benefited in so many ways by these two sisters and their ministry.

Tried My Patience Too much

You must be patient to listen to this podcast. There are nuggets of wisdom if you can endure through the disorganization, the jarring cackling and incessant chatter about useless things such as cloth napkins. The napkin thing was two episodes of uselessness. And yes, these are grown women who do not laugh, but obnoxiously cackle at almost anything. Also, they both have a pattern of interrupting each other when the other is saying something really important. The last one I listened to that really put me off was Rachel was talking about something importance and Bekah saw something out the window that she thought was much more important. Also, Bekah has a need to get credit for things and they argue a lot! I wish they would put out less episodes to make the quality and editing better. Their dad does an incredible podcast. It’s called Plodcast, and it is very organized and much better quality than What Have You. Hope they keep trying to improve, again if you can endure it there will be a few insights you can grab.

Biblical encouragement with a whole lotta laughs

Never met these ladies, but they feel like the Jesus-loving older sisters I never had! If you’re looking for countercultural, biblical talk on how to love mom-life and do it excellently, take a listen here. I stroll with my six-month-old while catching up on episodes, and I often have to tamp down the giggles so the neighbors don’t think I’m crazy.

I could listen everyday

I know it’s weird. But when I first found this I listened to like a years worth of episodes in a month. Don’t check my math. But I was disappointed when I caught up and had to wait for episodes. Also read their books.

Caution: not for psudo Christians

Ladies, this podcast is not for the faint of heart. If you are looking for watered down Christianity...go podcast elsewhere. This is full-on gospel centered motherhood/womanhood with practical and meaningful applications. It has been super convicting for me to hear some of the ways that I allow sin into my marriage and motherhood and I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF THIS PODCAST. Bonus is that my husband has noticed the work of the Holy Spirit in my heart through hearing the Gospel from these godly women. ❤️

I absolutely do not recommend this podcast. There are a host of errors stemmed from their Federal Vision background. Please, avoid. I know they are fun and sweet. But, they do not handle the word rightly. They also conflate vocation with identity. Please, run far far away.
