Bad Audio

The audio peaks extremely loud, right after you have to turn it up because you can't hear what they say. With headsets on I find myself adjusting the audio constantly.

Helpful

This is a great wow podcast! It's full of great info balanced with some fun personalities and some classic nerdy humor. I'll listen to this until the day I have 0 HP.

Obnoxious

I don't know what's worse, the embarrasingly bad, untreated amateur audio quality or the obnoxious, unfunny, over-dramatic, host that thinks punctuating every sentance with a loud Hillary Clinton-style laugh directly into the mic (often times in the most unnecessary spots) is not annoying and headache inducing. You'll spend more time rolling your eyes or wondering why there are arbitrary dramatic pauses than actually enjoying the content... which surprisingly is often informative. Advice: hire a sound engineer who knows how to compress and EQ audio, take a few broadcasting lessons and drop the Joker laugh nervouse habit, and relax a little bit. Maybe I'll try you again in a few months.

I really hate to leave a low score :(

I am honestly and truley writing this review in the hopes that it can improve the show. I've been listening since episode 1 and I will continue to listen because there are some things I like about the show. I'll get to my criticisms first: Darrick unfortuntaly laughs directly into the mic almost every single show and it is EXTREMELY loud, I thought this issue was fixed a few shows back but the laugh just blows right through the microphone. The almost forced sexual jokes get a tad old after awhile when some don't even make any sense. I feel as if the show is almost a little too negative about Warcraft as of the last few shows, but that might just be Poke being cynical. I am all for criticising things that need to be criticised but it really seems like Poke almost hates WoW sometimes, but that could totally be just my interpretation of what he says. The audio quality can be hit or miss on the shows, mainly the issue is Darrick being either too loud or too quiet (which hasnt happened since like EP7 I think). However with all that being said I do enjoy some parts of the show. I like the lore segments, I enjoy the overview that Poke has been doing with certain classes/armor types with the WoD changes. The content is there for the show to be great and I hope a few of the issues I said above change in the future. Like I said I will continue to listen (I will admit sometimes Darricks laugh is so loud that I get annoyed and turn off the podcast) and hope for the best. Hope this doesn't come off as a hate post, just trying to give feedback!
