Worth the ride!

First off, these guys are way smarter than me. The conversational journey that Jeff and Dan have been on these past years have challenged, provoked, amused, angered, confused, and evoked empathy from me....sometimes all in one show! Any podcast that can do that is definetly worth a listen! Here's to many more years of Virtue in the Wasteland!

Incisive, Relevant and Yet Irenic -- Top Notch

I have listened to the Virtue in the Wasteland Podcase for a couple of years now and find myself frequently impressed. I think Jeff and Dan are particularly bright young academics who have a handle on many of the important topics of our day. They seem to make a point to be kind, irenic, and gracious in their presentations, yet they tackle difficult and complicated subjects with intelligence and from a Christian worldview. I don't always agree with them (of course!), but I consistently find they are challenging and encouraging me in my faithfulness to Jesus Christ. Well worth the listen!

Do Yourself A Favor!!!

Take a little break from all the chaos that probably exists in your life and enter a conversation about goodness, truth, and beauty. This podcast doesn't hide from the hard questions and the hosts don't tell you what to think. They open a discussion and use their backgrounds in history, philosophy, and theology to talk about things that matter. It is currently my favorite way to learn and be thoughtful about a little bit of everything. As an added bonus the hosts are extremely entertaining and human. You get to know them through their episodes and the authentic way that they present themselves only helps to hold your attention and give credit to why they do what they do.

Not the best

But close in every category, i.e. philosophy, history, hot topics, religion & etc. What makes this my favorite of 10 podcasts is that they bare their souls, they allow us into the inner circle, they become vulnerable. And so we can choose to strike while their shields are down or join them in their Quixotic quest to make the dessert bloom.

Wander Here

I was wandering around the podcasts and thought this one looked intriguing--started with "Not All Who Wander Are Lost," seemed appropriate, and now I'm all in. What an unexpected joy today:)
