Painful to listen to

Vince Russo has some great ideas in the world of professional wrestling 20 years ago. Those ideas led to some great moments on TV. But after he left WWE for WCW and WCW tanked, he never found his way back to prominence in that realm. Now, he has a podcast that consists of anything but great ideas. Each episode generally consists of Vince making disclaimers about how if you are a certain kind of person, don’t listen to this show. And how he’s not bitter. Then he goes on rants showing just how bitter he is, and says the word bro literally HUNDREDS of times. You’ll also find plenty of statements that seem to make sense to him, but to any outsider come across as utterly asinine. Do yourself a favor and 1) listen and laugh at how awful this podcast is or 2) listen to just about anything else and spare yourself a future abiding hatred of the word “bro”.

It was good...

This show was great with the original format, but now it’s just another random boring wrestling podcast.

Total opposite take here, bro

I knew Vince Russo had a podcast for a long time, but I never listened to it because I didn’t want to listen to him rehash his career from 20 years ago. I’ve been a fairly involved a wrestling fan for 35 years, and I have never heard of this former cohost, and I don’t care what the show was before. I like the variety, but also like his take on the current wrestling product. I’m curious to see where the show goes, but for now I’m giving it a five-star review bro. Strongly considering subscribing on Patreon.

And when I wanna emphasize a point, bro, I’m gonna repeat myself three times, repeat myself three times, rePEAT myself THREE TIMES, bro. Bro, killing wcw didn’t slake my thirst for blood, bro, now I’m killin’ podcastin’ too by givin shows to a buncha MAWKS, bro. I gotta go, bro, I gotta make sure Durband really puts two coats a’ wax on the russomobile bro. I gotta remind him to pick up my bash at tha beach jersey from the cleanahs, bro.

Not paying for this filler

I mean come on talk about pot calling kettle I mean wow show is failing so a pay wall it is amazing how fast Russo runs to patron when things start getting hard instead of developing a show to grow and make money but hey things get hard his marks can pay for meteoric crap

Come back, Matt!!

Podcast is much less interesting now that MK is gone. Seems to be just a rehash of Vince’s 803 other podcasts.

You’ve lost your way-was a 5 now a 1

Vince first and foremost a huge fan and a Brand member. Mainly listen for Raw/SD Review & LTB&D. What drew me to this show originally was the fact that it was Matt interviewing you and going back in history to all the moments I watched as a kid and getting to hear from you what it was like. You say all the time that your tired of talking about your career but dude, it’s what your known for!!!! Do you know how many people would kill to be in your position where they can make a living simply by talking about their past career? If you truly do not want a show where people interview you anymore, then change the name and the art work as it no longer makes sense. Truth with Consequences means nothing when there is no one there to question your answers or challenge you. Your free to do whatever you want but there was a huge chunk of us fans that enjoyed the show for what its original intent was. Unfortunately since Matt left so has the interest to listen. Hope you can find your way back to want fans want instead of giving platforms to crazy people with conspiracy agenda’s.

Ughhhh

Man, I’m a fan of the brand and Vince Russo, but this show was it’s own thing when Matt co hosted the show. It’s what made it special. Without him, I feel Vince is turning this show into “a bucket of chicken necks”, another show found on the brand. CHANGE THE TITLE OF THE SHOW BRO! It’s no longer truth without consequences

TWC is just another version of “The Brand” now, loved the old format,I’m not a fan of the change

First let me say, I am a Vince Russo fan, however, TWC used to followthe same format Conrad uses and TWC was “appointment podcasting” very entertaining and we got to see Vince in a new light , now it’s Vince Russo the brand 2.0, I’m not saying that’s necessarily bad, it’s just a drop off and disappointing

Shows gone downhill since Matt left

It was predictable that the show would head south once Matt left but I didn’t think it would be this bad.

In all seriousness....

I used to enjoy listening to Vince Russo’s podcasts. But lately, I feel as if he’s lost his mind. I’m a 48 year old fan since 1983. I appreciate all Vince has done for the business of wrestling, however, I just can’t relate to his views or his constant shouting and god complex. Peace out Bro!
