So real

This is what I've been craving in podcasts. Not scripted, honest reactions. Self-aware, woke and informed commentary. It makes me feel less alone to know that there are content creators out there who share my views and are so thoughtful and informed.

Aptly named

I'm a relatively new listener, but I'm a fan already. Unlearning is so necessary in this country and these times we're living in, so I really value a podcast aimed at doing just that. If you need to hear people talking about current events in context of history, with a side of laughing-so-you-don't-cry and plenty of righteous anger, this is a good option. As a white person, I'm not really sure this podcast is really for me, maybe more for other black people in a sort of therapeutic, let's-process-this-together kind of way, but I think that's a good thing, and these perspectives are very important to hear and listen to anyway. I'm glad it's here, y'all are doing good work.

Uneducated echos

It’s one thing if you have a difference of opinions but to just ignore actual facts and history is insulting and honestly harmful to good people that just want to know “the” truth (not “your” truth)

Episode 60 is too good to ignore

I’ve been listening for quite some time and this is the episode that had me sitting still and understanding that we can find ourselves at any time during our life. We are all amazing and beautiful people!!

Challenging norms and expectations

I've listened to every episode. I love them all, but they've especially come into their own in the more recent ones. Great chemistry between the hosts, the way they play off each other is hilarious. Despite mostly being on the same page overall, the differences in their perspectives and life experiences make their discussions all the more interesting and enlightening

I love this podcast

Kat and Mesha are great hosts! They bring their whole selves and experiences to each episode, so discussions of important racial issues are informative as well as personal. And they're really funny :)

Yaaaas

If you're looking for a woman of color perspective in a laid back girl chat style look no further than Kat & Mesha! I often find myself responding aloud while listening like "IKR?!" These women are committed to calling mainstream heteronormative culture like it is.

I LOVE these ladies

I heard about this podcast while listening to another dope podcast, and I have been binging on it ever since. I love these quirky ladies and it's so empowering to hear these perspectives from two super educated women of color. They are fearless in who they are and share their unique life experiences freely, and it encourages other woc of all types to do the same. I've shared this podcast with everyone I know. PLEASE KEEP IT UP. Mesha and Kat are gems. One love ❤️
