Part-Time MBA Show

So in general I like the podcast. However, this episode on the Part-Tine MBA was a bit harsh in my opinion and disrespectful. I actually liked Your points about making sure to use all the resources available to you from the institution because your tuition dollars pay for it. However, you came off pretty judgmental in the episode. Instead of just offering the advice, you bashed and ridiculed those who took a different path. The data that you used was mediocre at best. You don’t consider the aspect of if I’m already working in a professional setting with a company....exactly why do I need an internship when I’m gaining real life on the job experience...that’s paying. Furthermore, many companies have will let you “intern” within your company you are currently working for part-time in a different department. You insulted the very listeners who subscribe to your show and it was hard to listen to.

Awesome! And Much Needed! Thank you!

Thank you to this young lady. I wish I would have had such a forum when I was younger. Every episode I’ve listened to, I also have experienced or knew someone who had a similar situation in the workplace (State government job). I enjoy listening to her show every week! Felicia is incredible, talented, fearless and innovative! The information she gives her listeners as an MBA in corporate America or not,as a Black Woman working - her show is extremely helpful, comforting and real!! Today’s episode (8/25/19) was phenomenal. Keep going Felicia! I support your show 100%.

That Part!

It's taken me a moment to write this because I didn't want to leave anything out. I became interested in getting an MBA two years ago. Since then I've been on a complete rollercoaster -- until I found this podcast. Felicia, the host, is not a recent or aspiring MBA giving her two cents. She's also not an MBA consultant charging 10K to help you get into school. She's a Black woman dedicated to helping other Black women thrive. She's sooooo real. If you've thought it, she's said it. She can explain it, and he has research and reciepts to back her up on the reasons behind the trends we see with Black women in corporate America. From a place of humility, she shares SUPER relevant guidance to help us make it over. Listening to these podcasts, I can't believe it's free and that someone would care this much and be as dedicated to helping us thrive. I've been telling everyone who will listen that this podcast is golden. I quote Trill MBA several times a week. I'm less distracted by the social pollution at work and more than ever motivated to stay focused on my journey to by best self. Felicia, thank you for this show. May God bless you in your going out and coming in. So much love to you! I can't wait to see your next boss move.

LISTEN!!!

I literally stumbled upon this podcast in a Facebook ad and the “Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number” episode spoke to my soul and my current situation. THANK YOU for addressing this issue. Thank you for the podcast in general, because NO ONE is laying out the path to greatness in corporate America as it pertains to women of color.
