Get More Specific!

This series would be soooo much better if guests were prepared ahead of time to give specifics. Responses are usually way too general for this information to impact listeners. What nutrition makes the difference for LeBron James? Don’t know - it wasn’t mentioned. How does he design his workouts? Couldn’t tell you. What specifically did Michael B Jordan to day to day to get in such perfect shape for Creed? Not sure - he didn’t say. Please get specific with your guests.

Get to the point

There was a 4 minute intro before LeBron James actually says anything. It’s just too produced and full of fluff. I wish this had a down and dirty feel to it and got to the action without the big breaks of introspection and summary. We tune in to understand what makes an athlete great from their core, and every second spent philosophizing and tying to put the conversation into broad lessons-learned departs from that. This podcast is nothing more than sound bites to me and misses the mark.

Not very deep

Interviews are rushed and just seem to scratch the surface. As far as actual, implementable training advice, there is none. What little information there is, is recycled from episode to episode. Great if you want to hear star athletes talk in vague terms about their training regimens with a not very skilled interviewer.

So insightful

We love these podcasts! My son & I listen to them as we drive to and from practices. Ryan does a great job of finding a good mix of athletes and researchers across the fitness spectrum. Would love to hear more about child / teen athletes and implications for them too

Very Well Done

This podcast is very well done. Let me start by saying that I do not agree with the majority of Nike’s beliefs/views. Especially with everything going on in the news right now. I was very skeptical to listen to this podcast because of the company’s stances on many issues; however, I wanted to try it because of other reviews that were written and to also make myself more well-rounded regardless of their beliefs or mine.I have been very impressed with this podcast. There is no hidden agenda. There is only honest conversation about wholistic health and how to encourage others to become their very best. I have “binged” through every episode and I’m eager for the next one to come out.The interviews consist of very well planned questions, topics, and insight from people that are the very best in their fields. I really respect the range of conversation and topics. I’m a big fan of this podcast. Thank you for doing this right, Nike.

So well-rounded

It’s so rare to find a fitness podcast that is this well-rounded. The host is so knowledgeable about the connection of the mind and body. I love learning more about sleep science and meditation while the interviews are still focused on overall fitness goals.

Amazing! BUT SPEED UP CONTENT

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because they are so slow to put up content and be consistent with it. I look forward to every episode with such anticipation because this podcast is for anyone who wants to know more about themselves and be their best self. So much good knowledge here.... But as Nike knows, consistency is key and the episodes are not very consistent.
