Good for stoke

I love getting out in the mountains and happen to Telemark. Seems kind of silly to me to care about one’s preferred method for sliding down a a snow slope. These guys constantly remark about how they bash tele skiing but really they rarely do and actually seem to secretly admire it... anyway, a lot of good content for rallying your stoke. The vibe is laid back which personally, I find easier to relate to than a super serious podcast- and fitting, as it’s just skiing... keep elevating the levels CCBC!!

Texas Newbie

Originally from Texas and a year here in Colorado has led me to discover some new hobbies. After a season of winter hiking, summering some snowy 14ers, and skiing the crap out of the resorts, I’ve been getting the itch to venture away from people.. which led me to search out for some information on backcountry skiing. Books and online articles are cool, but finding this podcast has been the best thing ever. Working in the Denver area as a HVAC Technician I get a ton of drive time every day. That being said, I’ve put in about two podcast episodes a day for the last two weeks. It’s all I listen to during the day. I’m currently on Episode 24. It’s been a wealth of knowledge and I’ve had some legitimately good laughs listening to you guys. I’m heading up 70 to stay in Aspen this weekend and would love to meet you guys if you’re around and also want to check out the shop. Anyway, enjoy the show and keep up the great work!

Entertaining even for a newbie

I just got into back country skiing this year and even being new I’ve found this podcast incredibly informative but also ridiculously amusing and fun. And I discovered TINCUP whiskey through y’all so it’s a win-win! Keep ‘em coming! With this crazy season I have a goal to ski every month this year... even if it’s a 50’ patch 😂

Great listen on the stair stepper

I’ve really enjoyed listening while out trail running or in the gym on the stair stepper trying to get some cross training in between laps in the skin track. I actually bought my first splitboard setup from you guys a few years back and only recently made the connection, thanks for shipping to Oregon Doug! As an Oregonian who frequents the cascades I appreciated the most recent podcasts on your trip to Oregon and Washington. Cool to hear some stories from some of our local spots, the SW chutes on Adams, MSH, etc! Keep up the great interviews, makes cross training a bit easier to get through while dreaming of colder days.

love it

great stories and gear intel. love the casual banter and hearing about CO since i am a Sierra guy. keep it up!i also get sore lower back from skiing both uphill and downhill. twisting and tight hamstrings put way too much strain on those muscles. yoga (got a cheap dvd on amazon called “Yoga for Cylists”) and that helps a ton. cheers!

The Enormocast of Skiing

This is the best skiing podcast out there and it’s hilarious. Keeps the stoke high when I’m away from the mountains and trapped in the urban jungle.

Super Chill but Informative

I really appreciate the guys approach to the conversation. They help guide the conversation with the mountaineering skiing in a way to help people a bit newer understand. As they live in Colorado they mostly talk about the area down there. However the guests locale varies so you can get some different terrain discussion out of them. However maybe it will motivate you out to that area or Utah. This has definitely motivated me to make investments in training and gear to hit the backcountry.

Easy listen, good laughs

I love the podcast. Always good for a chuckle and easy to listen to when I need something that’s just entertaining and good for building stoke. Response from request in ep. 60. Tips for a sore back:1. Stretch. As much as I hate it, it’s the only thing that cures it for me. Stretch glutes, hamstrings and sides2. Keeping a more vertical posture to be able to rotate hips and engage glutes on the up track seems to help. A while back, you had an episode where you tried to keep the profanity down. Maybe I’m your only listener who cares, but I’d throw a vote in for fewer swears. Anyway, I love the show. Always good for some laughs and good information.

Love the pod

I live in Maine and I don’t back country ski but I’d like to, and I love this podcast. I did make it to Bachelor for some big mountain skiing this year though. When I need gear I’ll be calling you guys.

Best ski podcast .

This podcast is awesome! No matter who these guys have on they do a great job. Every episode has some random facts, tips, and history with tons of laughs. This is the only podcast that after listening to a recent episode I decided to go back to the begining and go all the way through. I highly recommend this method of listening to anyone who is just stumbling up on this. I personally find the episodes with and without guests equally enjoyable (if I had to chose maybe without would be slightly better).Super stoked for the upcoming ski season and to hear what these guys are up to on a more regular basis.
