Love this!!
This podcast has been my absolute savior over this last year. Getting clear and concise scientific facts has put me at ease while also helping me to protect myself and my family during this pandemic. Thank you for being a guiding light!

Super Neat!
This podcast is amazing! I unfortunately didn’t discover this until after my microbiology course (I would have been so much more interested in stains), but I continue to learn and be fascinated by this knowledge! The hosts are wonderful and smart, and I feel super lucky to be able to keep refreshing my knowledge thanks to Erin and Erin!

Theme Song Obsession
First of all - greatest podcast ever!! Fell in love during season one and still going strong. I love that I can listen to this no matter what mood I’m in (tell me you’re moody without— you get it). That said, after years of listening, I have been obsessed with the theme music but can never find it in iTunes as a song or tone. Any guidance? I’d pay dozens - DOZENS - to have it as a ringtone. Please and thanks!

Over the Politics
I used to listen to your podcast obsessively. I loved the scientific research and your rapport with each other. Sadly, I got so tired of political rhetoric injected into the episodes so I haven’t listened in at least 6 months. Too bad, I really enjoyed your work but I’m looking for podcasts to enjoy and geek out over without having political viewpoints pushed at me.

Another genetic condition?
Love this podcast, listening to Huntington’s now. Wondering if you would cover another genetic condition, Charcot Marie syndrome? My grandpa and father had/have it, never thought it was that serious but recently saw an eye opening Amazon documentary about it called Bernadette that had me reeling!

Revelatory and Spectacular
Cannot recommend this podcast higher than I do. They are doing work that may legitimately improve the world and save lives. Drs. Erin have changed the way I see the world by allowing me to see how every disease is a particular intersection of biology, society, history, and culture. The podcast is so well-produced and accessible that literally every episode will affect the way you perceive history and the world writ large; for example, their episodes on things like yellow fever allow you to understand how this little-spoken-of malady (in the west) deprives millions of life years each year! They do amazing episodes on slightly-off epidemiology topics such as Dancing Plague and Aspirin.

Erin & Erin made me love learning again!
I would never have guessed I’d be so obsessed with a podcast about diseases, but here we are! There are so many things to love about this show, but what I love most of all is the passion that absolutely exudes from the Erins throughout every episode - they get so excited to teach each other things, and learn, and ask questions that it makes me excited to do the same. Maybe if college lectures had been taught by two friends teaching each other over quarantinis, I’d have retained more information back then, but I’m so thrilled to be learning about epidemiology from the Erins now!

all time favorite podcast
no joke, this is absolutely my favorite podcast. started listening way back and have been hooked ever since (yes, even through a pandemic). you are both so incredibly smart and amazing science communicators. i have recommended this to all of my friends, got both my best friends hooked, and even introduced it to my mom the other day (who worked in quality control for a company that works on new medicine for leukaemia—she loved it!). whenever you get excited about something, i do too. this podcast has quite literally motivated me to go back to school and get my masters so i can do psych research. you’ve reignited a love that i’ve had for so long and i am endlessly grateful.

Love this podcast
Always very interesting but their coverage on COVID-19 has been so helpful in keeping everything about this past year straight in my head as we’ve learned more and more about the virus.

Wonderfully gross & informative
Update: However many years later I am still listening! I work in healthcare now, and living through a pandemic has made the reality of the stories from TPWKY hit harder. I started listening to This Podcast Will Kill You last week. I immediately subscribed after hearing a sample of it. I love learning about scientific/medical information. The girls do such a good job at making the podcast entertaining, and as a bartender/lover of tasty alcoholic beverages I like hearing what the “quarantinis” are. My favorite episode has been cholera. Small Pox is a close second. All have been great. These are just my personal faves (so far!). If you like science, learning, and a good drink this is the podcast you’ve been looking for!

Good Enough for Professors!
During my last two semesters, I’ve had not one but TWO professors incorporate this podcast. It’s become one of the very few podcasts I listen to on a regular basis. Thank you Erin and Erin!
