Not bad

A little boring. Just not my favorite style of podcasting.

There’s a game in these two parts

Re: Season 4, Episodes 9 &10. Like guessing how many jellybeans are in a jar, surely there is also a prize for estimating how many times “Hanratty” is mentioned over the nearly 2-1/2 hours of this two-part podcast. By the way, the story was gripping till the end, though I had little sympathy for JH.

Soothing in a weird way

I love listening as I fall asleep, such a great voice. Weird since it’s pretty horrifying subject matter but it’s true. I look forward to every episode!

Relaxing ...

Well researched, few ads, compelling stories, and his voice is perfect to fall asleep to! The only problem is I typically can’t get through an episode before falling asleep lol

Seasons 4 Episodes 6/7

Very well written and narrated. However, I am not convinced of the guilt of the defendant. I certainly do not believe in double jeopardy. No one should be tried twice for the same crime, even if the first jury did not come to the chosen decision after the first trial.I am also unsure why the blood on the shirt wasn’t tested for DNA the first time, and why the object used for the bludgeoning did not show a conclusive DNA match the first or second time. I am aware that DNA testing has improved over the years, but there could still be contamination in this case.In conclusion, this case is very tragic, but well told. It made me think.

Outstanding writing, case selection

The most fascinating and unusual cases, written and narrated in compelling fashion. And not marred by continual, intrusive ads.

Have they slowed it down?

Love this show — and consider myself such a super fan that I’ve noticed that the audio seems to have been slightly slowed down. (No, it’s not the settings on my phone- I checked that) anyways.. preferred the original way.
