One of my fav horror flicks of 2010 so far...

I absolutely loved The Wolfman. Benicio Del Toro gives a dark and tortured performance as the afflicted lycanthrope. I thought he did a fantastic job. I loved the whole gothic atmosphere of the film too. I have always been a fan of this genre and i was very pleased they did such a great job updating the classic tale. This is a new classic to love! If you love this type of film...be sure and see it.

Don't wast the time or money!!

I saw this in theaters.very disappointed in it. It was the most lame and pointless plot. Moves super slow, and the sfx are stupid.

Amazing!

I absolutely loved this movie! It had everything: suspense, romance, and a cliff-hanger ending(just when the town thinks it is rid of the werewolf, thanks to Gwen, the Inspector looks up at the moon and at that point you know...the town isnt safe, yet.) Throughout the movie, thanks to the unexpected pop-outs, I was literally jumping out of my seat. This was the most thrilling movie I've ever seen (I barely watch horrors), and it almost made me pee my pants! The terror was real, as well as the rest of it. The movie plot was great and it all flowed along smoothly; one of the best things was that it wasn't just a cheap horror film; it had meaning and lots of it could be related to reality. I walked out of the movie shaking, from the literal terror that I experienced from it. I almost barfed when organs and body parts were being ripped apart (GREAT SPECIAL EFFECTS!!!!), but aside from that, this was AMAZING!!!!!!!The only negative thing about seeing this movie is, now I can't sleep at night without leaving a light on! ;)

Mehh...

I saw the movie with high hopes and thought it was awful. I was let down by Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins. I wish the movie had more plot than action.

THIS REMAKE WAS VERY WELL DONE!!!

Seeing as how this was a Universal remake of it's original, I found it to be quite enjoyable. The Werewolf face actually looked old school, which was nice. The transformation scenes were anatomically correct; It clipped along at a brisk pace, not once being boring; By the end of the movie, I felt sorry for the Lawrence Talbot "Werewolf" character. I saw him as a victim, not a predator.

It is entertaining

The movie has its ups and downs. The lighting is dark, that is to keep you on the edge of your seat. The transformations are great. Sir Anthony is a scene stealer as always. The movie does move along at a fast pace. I say just enjoy the ride!
