Warning.

While I have thoroughly enjoyed the listen, shame on the authors for not properly labeling this a 22 chapter ‘preview’. Let the reader beware. But a of a bait and switch going on here and just not cool.

Are you kidding me?

Have spent the day listening until....OMG! Chapter 22. Immediately purchased from Audible. This is a great book! I’ve never written a book review; please excuse the improper etiquette. A great listen and will be following this author.

Great story with plenty to take in!

This is a great book with plenty of tidbits that kept me listening to the next chapter to find out what was happening. Joe’s done a terrific job giving them listener interesting details of the character without giving too much right away. I’m looking forward to future Will Pollitt stories!

Great characters, great story

I’ve followed Joe for years as a marketer and was excited to hear about “A Will to Die.” It did not disappoint. I listened to it every spare minute I had until the end. I’m hopeful there will be more to come. Great job Joe!

I enjoyed my commute listening to this

The short chapters make the audio version the equivalent of a page-turner. It took a bit to get going (not in a bad way), and then the pace really picked up! I enjoyed the story line a lot, and the few sections for us marketing folks. All in all, well done, Joe.

Great story -- get ready to binge-listen!

Having a love for crime novels and true crime podcasts -- and *also* being an Ohio resident and being curious about th setting -- I was hopeful that this would be a good listen. I was wrong, though. It was a *great* listen! It's so easy to get into the narrative -- and the plot twists keep you thinking the entire way. Don't hesitate to read/listen to The Will To Die... my bet is you'll enjoy it!

Great story!

Loving it. This feels like a real world mystery that might happen to any one of us. And what a cool idea to make it a podcast before it comes out in print. Joe is a great storyteller so it’s no surprise this is such a great story! Addition: I laughed and cried and feel completely “in” the story. Robbie is great!

Engaging Story - Perfect format

I was drawn to the story because of the setting, and then for the next two days this story was in my ear all the time. I needed to know the surprising end! Thank you Joe Pulizzi.

What an imagination

Read many mysteries but have not come across any storyline like this. Joe Pulizzi you outdone yourself with this mystery. Your first novel is so different and unique. The beginning reminds me of a John Grisham story where it starts off slow and goes up and down like a roller coaster. Great detail on what goes on in a funeral home and how to operate one. Best wishes in your success in writing Sandra Mcd

Fabulous Whodunnit

A real (virtual) page-turner. Couldn’t put it down till the end (plus the great bonus track). The pace goes from fast to frenetic. Characters are people we know. The unexpected climax and denouement leave me wanting more. Already looking forward to sequels.
