    Why so fast

On my phone, in the lower left hand corner, I have the option of different speeds. I have accidentally hit that option without intending to which caused the podcast to speed up. Hope this helps

    Entertaining and Thoughtful

I’m really only writing this review because Apple seems to keep deleting the episodes of this podcast that I have downloaded. Hasn’t ever happened with any other podcast that I follow… Great show, and I’d hate to think that Apple is shadow-banning Mike Rowe because of his non-compliant personal and political beliefs…

How Can You NOT LOVE Mike Rowe?

Between his sexy voice and his style of storytelling, Mike Rowe could read a recipe book and make it sound as if it were an enchanting and ancient cultural tale of wonder. With so many interesting topics he discusses in this show, my favorite is the episode where his parents join him. If this wasn’t enough, you also get to learn really cool history with almost every episode. I’d love to be his ghostwriter and create the most amazing biography!

    Testing testing little stars

Dearest Mike and Charles… I thought I’d throw out a test. I’ve been told during nearly every episode of this, whatever it is, that all five star reviews are read. Also while listening to this… audio something or other, I was lead to believe there wouldn’t be many… I was mislead. However, I will proceed with my rambling idiocy with very little hope of either of you ever reading this, let alone hearing my own words come out of that sweet, soothing, deep baritone voice my wife so often uses through the night to drown out my horrific snores of selfish slumber. We’ve been listening to this impersonation of a podcast since the beginning and I have finally decided it was time to do my part, and click those wonderful stars. Apologies for the wait, hopefully my reluctance to fulfill the duties of a proper “gentle listener” haven’t held back proper payment from advertisers. What has prompted me to leave these messy musings of a madman, is a recent Amazon delivery. Just in the last month I’ve bought the first three Travis McGee books, and today Don Quixote arrived. Perhaps that information, if shown to the right corporate shills, will make up for the delay in my due diligence. What prompted me to actually remember to write this rambling review however was a post from our local police department on Facebook. Moline Police Department in Moline, Illinois have employed perhaps a match of Officer Tim Cottons wit, and is something I think you’d enjoy checking out if given the time. Perhaps rather than employing Mr. Cottons most recent book in a time of quiet reflection, MPD’s past posts can help you poop. Keep up the great work, and thank you for inspiring me to not only get the aforementioned reading materials, but to stretch a long forgotten muscle I’ve forgotten I had… the one used here for this really late, really sincere, really real review. Anyway, I’m off to continue impersonating a food broker while waiting for your writings to once again make a stretch of highway tolerable. Tony - Moline, Illinois

    Why so fast?

I love Mike’s podcast but the last few shows sound like they have been sped up and I’m not sure why. It reminds me of the old FedEx commercial where it was going a mile a minute. I was loving the duck of justice but it’s hard to listen to when it’s going by so clipped and fast. Is there anyway to slow the roll down?

    Duck of Justice

Please! Please! Please! Someone needs to give Officer Cotton his own podcast! Although Mike and Chucks regular game of verbal ping pong is extremely entertaining, I laughed til I hurt as I listened to Mr Cottons updates on Bangor Maine!! Well done Sirs. Well done.

    One of the best!

Mike is definitely the B-List (his words) celebrity I’d most like to have beer and crabs with. I feel like everyone feels like they know him. What a great quality. He’s either as real as he seems, or he’s mastered faking authenticity better than anyone. Enjoy every minute, from the original short TWIHI, to the newer “Two dudes talking”.

    One road trip 46 episodes

Mike and Chuck, I am perplexed by the sheer amount of content I’ve joyously consumed on my 10 day photography trip to Colorado from Northern California. 46 episodes, no doubt my vocabulary has increased and my aptitude to soak in and expel knowledge has too been furthered. So thank you, thank you for your engaging, fun and thoughtful and thought provoking content. -Nolan

The Beard is Getting Itchy 👍👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The podcast was wonderful, per usual. After the podcast I had to watch to watch “The True Don Quixote” on Prime Video. What a charming film. It gets 2 thumbs up and 5 stars as well as the podcast. I can’t wait for the new podcast to drop. It feels like I am in the same room as Mike, Chuck and their guest each week.

    Great podcast, start to finish

Mike Rowe is an excellent storyteller. In his more recent podcasts the format has changed but is just as entertaining and educating. Chuck is great, too.

I’m probably the #1 fan of this podcast!

If you want to give Mike and Chucks podcast a chance I’d begin with, “The King and Me”. It is a great trial run if it’s you are just starting to listen. I am a 25 year old student and employed worker, and I can’t thank you enough for doing what you are doing. The podcast is just jammed with penny for your thoughts moments and hilarious banter between both Mike and Chuck. I know that you aren’t necessarily “authorities” on any matter of “life lessons,” but that’s why you two are my favorite. Also, Mike and Chuck rarely get political but when they have it’s actually good moderate conversation. I’m a young Libertarian and I always feel my values resonate with what you both talk about.

    Excellent Podcast about Labor Day!

Labor Day “Off the Wall” episode was an excellent episode. As someone who spent 4 years completing a degree because it was what I was supposed to do. I finished and still was unsure what to do so I went on to work on a master’s degree. After spending the first 2 years working part time on my masters degree and working full time at a white collar job, I managed to buy a house, turn a 160% profit doing all the work myself, and picked up another part time job doing trim carpentry on the nights and weekends. I worked hard developing that trade for 3 more years while I finished my master’s degree, (only because I committed to finishing and could pay for the classes without loans) and I was working as a job site superintendent for a major production home builder. I’ve now found myself making nearly 100k a year as a home inspector. The only required education for this trade is a single 90 hour course, a test, and state licensing. The best decision I’ve ever made. I can now spend time with my family while knowing I can provide for them. I didn’t know about the work ethic scholarship when I started my path toward the trades, but I’m thankful for the work ethic that my father, grandfather, and many others have taught me through the years. Thanks Mike, Chuck, and everybody at the Mike Rowe Works Foundation for all the great things you are doing for the skilled workforce!

    Used to be great

I used to love the podcast. The 10 minute episodes were great little “mysteries” to break up the rest of my podcast feed. They were popular enough that Mike wrote a book about them. He then used that book to transition the show to just another hour long podcast interviewing someone, and frequently it’s his parents. Now it’s the same old thing as all the others.
