The Sweetest VGM Show Ever

VGMJB is pure joy. Josh and Emily delivered the sweetest, most earnest exploration of video game music that podcasting has to offer. Eagerly anticipating the next special reunion episode. This is the only podcast I've re-listened, all the way through, twice.

FLAWLESS PODCASTING!!

Long time patron. First time reviewer. Add it to the list! Oh yeah! I started listening to this podcast after several mentions from fellow video game music podcast The Legacy Music Hour. Absolutely love the tracks that are shared here from Emily and Josh and the patrons. I have to say this podcast always knocks my workday out with a FLAWLESS VICTORY. Keep up the good work! The conversations ya’ll have are consistently engaging for the listener and never dull. Indeed sometimes the music takes a back seat to the discussions had by the hosts. But, this never disappoints and I feel like I’m listening to close friends chatting over coffee. Thanks for everything!

IT’S A SECRET TO EVERYBODY

This is an outstanding VGM podcast. The majority of the tracks are selected out of a pool of listener submissions. The curators are entertaining and the community is fantastic. P.S.VGMJB also has a patreon. Check it out and maybe consider pledging your support.

They're like the Casey Kasem of VGM

Audience submissions with heartfelt testimonials and intellectual discussions about conceptual and etherial connections between VGM and the world around us. No seriously, that's basically what this show is. So if you like VGM and have memories (and a soul), you'll love it.

The Caretakers of Shared VGM Memories

I am a bad patron (for those not in the know, the term for the show's listeners). I am a bad patron because I have never left a rating for one of my favorite podcasts of all time. But I am also a good patron; I installed iTunes so I could leave this review!Josh and Emily provide thoughtful takes on listener stories; all framing the wonderful music VGM fans love. The format is decidedly different - the hosts play tracks of their own choosing very infrequently. Instead, this feels like a community. Every listener has the opportunity to say "hey, I like this show, and guess what? I contributed a little bit!" So subscribe to the show, submit a track recommendation, and tune in to hear Josh and Emily provide thoughtful insight, and sometimes just plain silliness.

Start with Ep. 74: DEDICATIONS~

Animite1's review puts it best:"I've listened to many VGM podcasts over the years, but this is the first where I've been openly encouraged to submit my suggestions and VG memories, episode after episode. Where else can you listen to VG tunes and topics ranging from Gundam models to the very meaning of life itself?"Thanks For The Safe Space and The Memories, Emily & Josh!~

Two Final Fantasy Victory Arms Up!! (And Down)

I've listened to many VGM podcasts over the years, but this is the first where I've been openly encouraged to submit my suggestions and VG memories, episode after episode. Where else can you listen to video game tunes and topics ranging from Gundam models to the very meaning of life itself? Thanks Emily and Josh for making a community where I can delve into the realms of my subconsious and answer the following question: What is it about those simple (and oftentimes complex) bloops and bleeps that make life awesome? Listen to this podcast and you might find the answer. Many thanks for the many great episodes guys.

A Quality Podcast Appears!

You may be tempted to attack or use a spell when confronted with The VGM Jukebox, but you should really hit that "LISTEN" option instead. You'll get way more experience points that way. A+++!
