Indispensable Guidance That I Wish I Could Share
Lee has proven himself as an incredibly wise counsel over the years for me. I first came across his material in 2014 when desperate to save my marriage. While my wife at the time made her choices based on fear, I grew immeasurably with Lee’s guidance and my determination to do better going forward. The divorce still took its toll, and I stepped away from growth while I just tried to heal. (By the way, that was foolish of me since growth and healing are not at all mutually exclusive; they can in fact be very complimentary)Now, in 2018, I’ve been dating someone amazing for nearly two years. And through the extreme ups and downs I realized we’re both stuck and not progressing. Out of painful desperation I made a realization; I needed more help. Dr. Lee Baucom’s Thriveology Podcast has become a part of my daily life as I strive to open myself up towards a future that’s in my hands. Listening to his words (very frequently) and working towards applying the principles has allowed me to start flushing out what my childhood, society, and my depression have “taught” me. I feel invigorated, in control of my behavior, and excited for the next day. I’ve found myself making changes to life-long problems without even intending to as my whole self begins to heal. The only problem is that I really want my girlfriend to join me on this journey of progression, and I’m just not sure how to inspire her to hear these words. Lee, I appreciate this whole series more than you know. When I’m caught up, I’ll listen to it again. And I’ll be contributing to your Patreon to show my appreciation. I can’t (yet) afford much, but you’re helping me to change my life for the better. Thank you.
