Glorification of the most disgusting menz

Leave it to little Moronnial dudes to come up with a poorly written, disorganized array of codswallop whereby the little boy narrator displays a clear adoration of a murderer of women. This boy chortles as Murphy harasses waitresses. After all, they are only women -- i.e. not fully human -- as porn has
classically conditioned all Moronnial males to "know" via their 1.5 oz of uncontrollable flesh (& the majority of males before them). Most killers of women got themselves riled up via viewing violent pornography that depicts abusing White women, so these dikwaadz have something else in common.

    Season 1: A victim

I tried to listen and o this with an open mind but when the interviewer described the robber as a “victim of two of the largest tragedies of the 21st century,” I had to turn it off. The podcast host seemed to bend over backwards to accommodate and give exception to a man who made horrible decisions. He overextended himself by buying way too many properties.

    Great work

Loved season 2 - fresh work on a subject that has been covered in other mediums. Great production values and overall approach. Recommend if you want something timeless.

    Compelling & thorough..

Tough subject.. Murph is the type you’d hope never to come across.. bad dude with no conscience.. I feel this glorified him a bit, bit really it was just Jack weaving his own tale.. his ego on full display... interesting podcast if you can keep the bile out of the back of your throat..

    Brilliant and Chilling

This series was well-researched and compelling. Murphy was both a compelling and frightening individual. His charm, even in at his advanced age was undeniable. However, it covered a dangerous person lurking beneath the surface who despite his apparent rehabilitation lacked empathy and seemed capable of anything. His protest about questions in the final episode were.downright chilling: that all happened along time ago, why keep bringing it up is the height of psychopathic behavior.

    Great podcast

I enjoyed the podcast and my gut feeling from the beginning was that Jack Murphy was a total con man . That was evident at the end along with the fact that Murphy the Surf only care about the image of himself that he put out there for the world to see. Keep up the good work! I look forward to the next season.

    Memory Lane with Gramps

I actually like this podcast, however it is 100% clear that Murph is just another con man looking for a few more minutes of fame. He is literally bragging about helping people “have accidents”... please stop glorifying garbage people.

    A guy robs a bank...

...and that’s pretty much it. There is no mystery here. It’s an interesting story that is told in the most boring, convoluted way.

    Lazy

The short episodes indicate that the “journalist“ are not actually concerned with truth. They only want to tell a story. And it’s the type of story that allows the journalist to self-aggrandize in order to make him feel better about himself. Also, in season two, allowing the man to say that Jack committed these horrible crimes because he didn’t go to church is ridiculous. And there was absolutely no pushback; or was there any attempt to challenge such an old, tired, and ridiculous idea. There are many other problems with this podcast, but I recommend not listening to them to find out what they are. It is lazy in it’s entirety.

    The Sneak was a disappointment

I knew the false line criminal GQ story. The podcast dig out the really story and then didn’t tell it. All the Accomplices were identified and the true story was known but we weren't told. Leaving me wishing that I had not wasted my time. I unsubscribed.

    Intelligent questions, surprising stories

True crime done right. You can tell by the questions Nate poses to his subjects that he’s doing this for the right reasons - to dig into the humanity of crime. Love both seasons and can’t wait to hear more from this talented podcaster!
