Thanks for the insights from you and your guests. No problem about taking much of the summer off. I prefer quality over quantity.

Great Talks! Witty, Intellectual, funny.

I listen to a lot of podcasts about growing food, food security, food and the environment and so on. What I really like about The Ruminant is the complexity with which Jordan works for his show. He does asked the same canned questions to each guest. He reads their work first and asks question pertinant to such work. I feel he also is willing to discuss a wide array of topics and does not use a pigeon hole approach. I highly recommend this podcast.

Great farming podcast!

Thoughtful, wide-ranging podcast about sustainable farming, nutrition and ecology. The host, Jordan Marr, interviews insightful guests and always asks great questions. Proving that behind every successful man is a great woman, Jordan's wife, Vanessa Samur, wrote and performed the song played at the end of every episode ("Song for Jordy"). I look forward to hearing the song each episode as much as as I do the content!

So glad we found The Ruminant

We listen to the show during our workday on our small farm in South Carolina. What a fantastic and valuable media source! Jordan does a great job and delivering consistent audio quality and consistency with topics that are relevant and engaging. His interviews are always fantastic and open us to a wealth of information and resources. Best of all, he's an actual farmer speaking from experience within the organic market. Our whole operation looks forward to many more episodes of The Ruminant.

Great for growers

Like a conversation among farmer friends. Deep dives into practical topics and methods in some episodes, philosophical and cerebral topics in others. Keep up the great work!
