Love the show

From Jerime Diltz Hello Brian I love the show. It makes my work day go by much faster. I’m still getting caught up on all the past episodes, and I love the fact that you and the other podcasters ( Mike Murphy, John David, and Beau York) are all friends and can tease each other the way you do. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Grandfather of Pipecasts

This is the oldest (longest running) pipe smoking podcast for a reason. The content is relevant and rich. Plus, Brian does a great job of bringing in knowledgeable guests - most of whom he’s known through his pipe-smoking network and by being an industry icon himself. Good show & well done.

Should have wrote this earlier

Brian, I hope these reviews help you hit the 300 mark! You deliver wonderful content and pipe related information on every episode. Some of my favorite smokes have been sitting on the porch at night, smoking a bowl while this podcast is playing in the background.

Social distancing made easy

I’ve been listening to the pipesmagazine radio show for years and I would highly recommend it. This podcast is just what the doctor ordered when your barricaded in your tobacco cellar and cut off from the outside world. Brian’s years of industry experience, friendly personality and old time radio format make listening not only enjoyable but educational. The fact that there’s 350 plus episodes doesn’t hurt either. If your interested in pipes or premium pipe tobacco you owe it to yourself to check out the show. Well done Brian and Kevin!

Reliable and informative

This is the gold standard of Pipe Podcasts. Brian’s format harkens back to an old time radio show format: routine, smart and funny where it needs to be. Something to look forward to every week.

Was a Fantastic show

Came here for the pipe talk and tobaccco reviews, in the end I got a bunch of political opinions from a guy who constantly makes jokes that aren’t funny, the only good part is the 5 questions to end the interviews. Thought the pipe podcast would be one to avoid political opinion but alas Briana Levine whines like a little child through his rants. Oh no I can’t smoke at Disney land, boo hoo, it’s an amusement park for kids.

My favorite pipecast

Terrific, informative and entertaining. What a great way to spend your commutes or a quiet evening pipe. These shows have encouraged me to attend my first pipe show and check out my local(ish) pipe club. I’ve learned a lot and I’m exploring tobacco blends I never would have looked at without the information I received here. Thanks for opening my eyes and palate!

What’s not to like?

Always enjoyable, flows along at the same pace as a pipe enjoyed in quiet and in your own time. I listen to a few podcasts for hockey, and while the people in the hockey world tend to have similar backgrounds and experiences, what always strikes me about the guests on this pod-cast, is how varied their stories are.

Reliably Good

As a newer pipe smoker if I d this podcast very informative as well as a pseudo introduction to the pipe smoking community. I appreciate how many topics this podcast spans and how varied the interviews are. Last but not least, the rants are pure enjoyment.
