Groundbreaking (Without Breaking Ground)

I am learning so much from this podcast. Perfect balance of content and humor. Jessie is quite knowledgeable, yet delivers the content without being obnoxious or condescending. Keep up the good work!Chris Local Lettuce Farm

Good stuff!

This podcast is amazing. I’m an amateur and it can take a few episodes to catch on to some of the lingo, but overall it’s very easy for beginners to learn from. It’s been so helpful in my transition to no-till/low-till methods. The interviews include a good variety of farmers in different climates and it’s helpful to hear everyone’s different approaches so I can create a toolbox of techniques.

Love this podcast!

Your shoes are always packed with information and new ways to think about gardening & farming. But your last show with Larisa from Soul Fire Farm was OUT of the PARK amazing! Thanks for shedding light on the ways earth care, food justice, racial justice and community all connect.

So grateful

This podcast has greatly influenced how I farm and has given me great encouragement that our farm is part of a broader network of farmers going No-Till. So very grateful for all the wisdom shared here.

Cardboard

Hey Jessie this is Kermit from WiLD Rose Farmstead. I just wanted to add to a recent podcast. You had asked about how to pull the tape off cardboard. I found a lovely trick that we use here all the time. Soak the cardboard with water, this accomplishes two things. #1 you can pull the tape off super easy… #2 the cardboard is wet and heavy, easy to lay and will not blow away in the wind. Love the show keep up the good work.So you didn’t Change the music, f*}#% ya!!!! Just great music I look forward to hearing ever tim. Any who. Great first episode the sound quality was fantastic. Lots of fun info and creative guests .keep up the good work farmer Jessie . First off love the music, please don’t ever change it, but it’s ok if you do. Second you all have done a great job , so much information and genuine people. Happy farming . Cheers Wild Rose Farm

Excellent in all facets

The information provided is varied and extremely valuable. Also the audio and production quality is excellent. A couple of his early shows had some audio issues but even those are listenable. Farmer Jesse has a great personality and interview style. His guests are very knowledgeable. Most of the information is directed at commercial farmers but even casual hobbyist can learn a ton from this show.
