A great view on life

I was walking around the block laughing my head off and people were looking at me funny. Nik doesn’t hold back on any sacred cows he tells it like he sees it and I just love his straight up pitch. A thoroughly enjoyable use of time.

Really??

Want to hear the “F” word 100 times in two sentences? Want to hear the proclamation that they make the best “F”ing brownies. Want to hear that “this podcast is “F”ing awesome? Want to hear a bunch of guys reliving the “glory days”? I wrote the podcast, said that saying “Fu##” a hundred times for no reason is a poor way to represent your message, Got a prompt and polite response, saying, yes I swear a lot.To much for me to stomach, no need to be swore at repeatedly. Could only get through 10 episodes. Any message given is lost.

Great knowledge without attitude

I’m subscribing to many a like podcasts, but this is my first review I decided to share. Main thing I like is how Nik Hawks runs the show — how his guests and the knowledge their bring are most important, not the ego of a host. Even over 1.5-hour long episodes doesn’t make me tired of listening. And yes, it’s not just those “technical” aspects of the show, but actual quality and variety of topics Nik shares are all great.

Interesting Guests and Hardly About Paleo

The hosts of Paleo Treats invite very interesting guests, prompt them with thoughtful questions and then allow each guest to answer fully. The hosts are very mindful to not cut off a comment or discussion and allow the guests to speak about their own interests and ideas. I think the name “Paleo Treats” might turn some people off, but it shouldn’t. Each episode touches on the paleo diet/lifestyle in some way (often just shortly at the end), but the show is hardly about paleo eating. If you like the Joe Rogan Experience podcast you will probably love this. Paleo Treats offers similar subjects: Fitness, the Military, Politics, History, Nutrition among others, but the hosts seem to understand the show is a way to share a guest with the audience, not just a platform for themselves.

Excellence in the Making

I love this podcast. A lot of Paleo podcast just deal with food... This podcast deals with food and achieving excellence outside of the kitchen. These guys are real and don’t mince words (which is awesome). I look forward to each new episode.

Love this podcast!

Just cool people talking about being awesome in their own way. Uplifting and thought provoking in a laid back format. Doesn't have much to do with paleo so don't let that turn you off if that's not your thing.
