Brilliant and Effective

Very stimulating and refreshing podcast. I think its very powerful to include the many facets of France including race and identity. This podcast provokes engaging discussions that leaves listeners inspired with more insight about one of the most influential Western European countries ever.I appreciate this podcast for its sincerity and earnest conversations. This ethos is what separates this Francophile podcast from the others.

Amazing! 😁

The spectacular Lindsey Tramuta and all of her guests throughout the episodes have kept me waiting for the next one every time. The non-sugar coated and honest episodes are interesting, entertaining as well as educated and informative. As an 19 year old wanna be expat, the podcast has helped truly cement my love for Paris and France. If you add a podcast about Paris in your library, make it this one.

Book is great, this is still developing

Loved the book and find the topics of the podcast very interesting. Lindsay’s voice is perfect for podcasting! She should soules on the interviewing style- she often interrupts which can be disruptive

Absolutely splendid!

Every time I see there’s a new episode available, I listen to it near immediately! She has a lovely voice and a style of speech that keep me engaged from start to finish. The range of topics and guests on the podcast offer unique perspectives to an ever changing city that steadily maintains its global status of haute couture, exquisite gourmet, and of course as the city of lights and love. Most importantly, Lindsay’s podcast enables me to escape my mundane life spending a gap year in Cincinnati, Ohio by giving me intriguing episodes full of quirks, laughs, smiles, and “aaawwww.”

I recently moved to Paris and must say, The New Paris has become one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. I really look forward to the new episodes! It's up there with my other favorites, The Daily and Caliphate:)

Relatable and enlightening

I really didn't think I'd find a podcast for such a niche base of Americans living in Paris, thats also intereting and novel. Great guests and variying themes that show how many facets Paris life has. Keep up the good work.

Fantastique

I am trying to understand why others would give less than 4 stars, it seems impossible to me!?!! But alas not all think that same. Here is what I think. Lindsey and her co-host are admirably knowledgeable about French culture and Paris in a way that most foreigners could only hope to understand. Personally, I am enamored with France - the language, the food, the culture, the mores and values - thus, I am intimately curious about all of the subjects they discuss. Additionally, there is a deeply intellectual bent to this podcast for discussions aren’t merely for entertainment (though they are quite entertaining) but also for a deeper understanding. And, I’d like to add that Lindsey’s French is impeccable... something I greatly aspire to and am inspired me each time I listen. I have listened to every episode and am always checking for when the next is released. If you love France or Paris, are into intellectual discussion, want to learn more about the “real” side of Paris and want to support wonderful women doing their thing, I urge you to listen to The New Paris.

Excellent

As a person who lived in France, Lindsey and Alice do a great unveiling the side of Paris that many American voyer it’s never look beyond. It is an incredible place, but has so much to offer beyond the well-known historical sites. Their guests are engaging while the discussion feels like a conversation over drinks amongst friends. Always looking forward to the new episode.
