Excellent!

So glad I found this podcast. I love OTR so I’ve already heard some of the shows they feature, but I still enjoy listening again for their commentary. I hope to see one of their live shows in the Twin Cities someday soon.

Slopped with joy

Check out “The Day Sinatra Got Fat” and you’ll see what I mean. For a more dramatic turn check out “The Man Who Sold His Soul”.

Great job guys!

If you’re into old mystery radio shows, this podcast is for you. Eric, Tim, and Joshua do a great job hosting and their humor and chemistry add the cherry on top of this nostalgia filled sundae. BONUS: There’s no Carole Fk*** Baskins in ANY of the episodes.

Love it!

OTR was literally the first thing I discovered on the internet, and it’s been a pretty lonely hobby since. This podcast is the first time I’ve found meaningful discussion, in any format. The hosts bring a wealth of information along with in-depth discussion and criticism of each episode. I am so glad I’ve finally found this.

A compilation of all the best episodes of old radio programs

I've been listening to old time radio programs for over 15 years and only recently stumbled upon this gem. It's like some one took all my favorite creepy old time radio episodes and put them together just for me. Through this, I've also discovered quite a few fantastic episodes I had never even heard before--and I thought I'd hear them all. Additionally, the critiques and banter between the hosts is both hilarious and intelligent. I honesty could not recommend this podcast more and that's coming from someone who almost never writes reviews.

Great fun!

Either the radio piece is great or it’s not and the chat afterward is hilarious. Great combination.

Delightful!

This show is a treasure. As a relative old-time radio newbie, I didn’t know what to listen to beyond going through the “best of Suspense” lists I found online. It’s a sampling of episodes from all times and places — great if you don’t know where to start. The hosts are affable and funny. An extra plus, it’s sanity-maintaining to hear someone call out stereotypes or just the fact that no one ever listens to their wives!

Just great

Just found You, January 2020. Love old time radio, hearing shows here that I never knew existed. When I realized You had commentary afterwards, I prepared to skip after the actual show. I gave it a the discussion a chance and LOVE it. Just great stuff, the personalities, Your interaction and Your dissection is as good, or in some cases considerably better than the shows..but all great. Thanks for doing the show

Can’t Wait for More Episodes!!!!!

My brother and I grew up listening to cassette tapes of Sherlock Holmes, The Shadow, and The Green Hornet that my Dad would buy from Cracker Barrell. My brother showed me podcasts and inbetween classes at college I would listen to the scary tales podcasts and suspense poscasts. I would listen to everything and get so scared I couldn’t sleep at night. Thank you guys for your amazing stupendous podcast!!!! I love the range of shows and when you guys discuss them afterwards. Not only are you guys hilarious, but I dont get scared because all the flaws and jokes you guys point out make me laugh so much I forget how scary it was to begin with.
