A podcast not to miss!

Listening to these podcasts has been wonderful, especially during these very “isolated” times in this current world crisis. I feel like Rebecca and her son are sitting in my own living room! What a gift. I really appreciate their insights and honesty about living the life of creativity.

My favorite art podcast!

I have listened to many art podcasts, including Australian and British ones but this one is my favorite. Rebecca, in her extraordinarily soothing voice, has helped me gain a deeper understanding of where original art comes from when it is not meant to be representational. But I have learned from all the episodes and plan to show my gratitude in a small way when times are better.

Favorite art podcast ❤️

Love this podcast! Having come to painting mid-life, this podcast is providing much encouragement and great advice. I enjoy your interviews with other artists, and Jerry’s thoughts in the recent episodes are really hitting home. This is one of very few podcasts that I always feel a bit sad when it’s over - a true indicator of its value to me!! Thanks for sharing your expertise and insights about making art ❤️

Excellent

I just love hearing Rebecca every week! I put it on while in the studio, and look forward to her insights and humour. Though it may not always be specifically relevent to what I personally am doing at the moment, it's ALWAYS interesting, funny, and kind. Sometimes nuts and bolts (what car should I buy to transport work? How does oil mix with medium? What are the scams to look out for?), and sometimes more ethereal (When do I know a piece is done? How do I self-evaluate?)-looking forward to more!

Art Path Orienteer

If you are wondering what’s working and what’s not, why and now what with your art, “Creative Pull” is a great listen. Rebecca and Ross point to questions to ask drawn from years of personal experience in 2D, 3D, observations of artists exploring digital art and even those who combine it all for authentic, artistic expression. Are you happy with it all being a mystery to you, no compass needed, then perhaps it’s the medium that’s calling you! Either way, “Messy Studio” is a favorite Podcast that I’ve enjoyed listening and look forward to many more episodes.

Messy studio podcast, it’s a winner!

I am so thankful to have access to this wonderful podcast by the accomplished artist Rebecca Crowell and her talented son Rob Tichnor. Honestly it is like sitting down over a cup of coffee with your wise and wonderful friends and walking away with a depth of understanding about the workings of being a successful artist. The two of them have a playful interaction and are able to address multiple points of views on important topics. They also interview other working artists exposing a wealth of creative thinking and process. As an artist I find a great value in the practical advice and wisdom that Rebecca shares, about emotional aspect of making art and the business side of being a working artist. This podcast is an easy listen and well worth the time spent!!!

Love this podcast!

I really enjoy listening to Rebecca discuss issues of relevance to artists and those who appreciate the creative process. Just listened to the podcast on developing Voice and found many gold nuggets in the information. I appreciate listening to different artists talk about their process and evolution and especially liked when visuals were posted on Instagram so I could have that element too. Ross has a great voice and adds to the structure of the podcast as well. I like how down to earth Rebecca is. She is so real and open and it’s clear she has a playful relationship with her son which is fun. When I hear her voice it’s like being back in a workshop with her again. Thank you for making this available to us!!
