Interesting, encouraging, and fun to listen to!!
I am a huge fan of this podcast! And that’s saying something, because I only have two podcasts that I have never gotten tired of! 😆 I really have loved hearing the insights—both of Zach and those he’s interviewed! Nutrition is an area that I struggle in…(cookies and warm, gooey carbs are my hardest to resist!) So it’s been super supportive for me to have encouragement and reminders that having good health doesn’t mean we have to hold ourselves to perfection. Health is more about consistent effort and gradual change. Plus, it’s nice that there’s always some funny bits in each podcast, so it’s not some boring, discouraging lecture on eating! 😆 He also has a comfortable, nautical way of talking and interviewing, so it’s enjoyable to listen to!! When Zach compared making simple, healthy choices to the children of Israel being willing to look at the brass serpent in the wilderness, it was a major truth bomb/eye-opener for me! The simple steps really work, and I really do know all the things I need to do to eat better! I just need to DO them. So this was such a good reminder for me. Thank you Zach, for talking about this area where so many of us struggle, and helping us to see that we really DON’T need super strict diets that cut out whole food groups! Moderation, consistency, and little steps at a time go a long way!!
