Katie Prejean & Tommy McGrady, a married couple in their 30's, living in Louisiana, explore things happening in the culture, talk about their Catholic faith and ways to grow closer to Jesus, all while making references to their two favorite TV shows, "The Office" and "Parks and Recreation" and plenty of other shows, movies, songs, and things in the zeitgeist. Join them on their back porch as conversational chaos, and a lot of laughs, ensue.

Amazing!!!

Discovered it last summer after attending Notre Dame Vision and hearing Katie’s keynote presentation. A joy to listen to! Enjoy every second of it, can’t wait for them to produce more episodes!

One of the best Catholic podcasts out there

I’m so glad I found it! I love that it isn’t an exhausting seminar, but rather the perspective of everyday Catholics striving for holiness. Also, where else can you find a podcast merging Catholicism, The Office, and Waffles?

Fluffy is good

Tired of the fluff that makes it way into social media or podcast world. The only fluff I really like are fluffy waffles. So I’m hoping that I can someday eat a yummy fluffy waffle and listen to this awesome podcast. I’m hooked after listening to just one!

I’d give up waffles to listen to this podcast

I’d been following Katie on twitter for awhile and when I found out she and Tommy were making a podcast, I was so excited. One thing that really stands out is how real they both are. They have successes and struggles and they admit to it all. The references to The Office and Parks & Rex are the cherry on top of this wonderful sundae (which maybe isn’t the best analogy, because I don’t like ice cream). 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Best Catholic Podcast

What Katie and Tommy provide in this podcast is what all young Catholics are looking for: thoughtful and prayerful advice on how to live as a young adult Catholic in the world. Each episode is funny, engaging, educated, and most importantly, real and honest opinions from a married couple who’s spiritual depth demands deep respect. I so enjoy listening to The Electric Waffle and I can’t wait for more!

This is the podcast I've been waiting for!

When I discovered this podcast, I realized that I had stumbled upon exactly what I've been wanting: a conversation between a married couple which integrates The Office and Catholicism. I love how lighthearted this is while still having so much deep dialogue that gets me thinking. I highly recommend it!
