Best Podcast EVER!
I just became a “bell head” about a month ago and I’m currently on episode 27 with Matt Selman and can’t wait to hear more! I want to tell you that I just love your podcast and want share with you how these guys have affected my personal fitness journey.Over the past 2 years, I’ve transformed my diet and seen great results then started to slip a little bit when I got comfortable at my job about 6 months ago. All of a sudden, sweets were treated like prizes and were plentiful in the office. Free food couldn’t be wasted, even if it tasted like cardboard… then I found The Dumbells podcast! You guys are right up my alley! You both have great senses of humor and a genuine desire to give valuable advice to improve the wellbeing and lives of your guests and listeners. I am a graphic designer by trade and have started walking at work (we sit a lot) and working out in my garage gym while listening after work when I would normally be eating my kids leftover pizza and nuggets while grazing in the kitchen. Needless to say, I stopped the slip in its tracks when I started listening to you guys.I have good foundations of eating in place and want to continue to grow in fitness and in health, from this day forth. I’m married to the vision I have of myself fit and capable of running, playing with my son and husband and living a happy healthy life! Turns out, food and fitness are both directly tied to happiness (serotonin) by science!I want to share my progress and develop a plan to move forward in my life with a renewed drive with The Dumbells, so THANK YOU!I’ll close with this statement: I believe that everyone of us is compelled by the nature of our being to get the very best out of what you find fulfilling in life. Big food, advertising, commercialization and the industrialization of our country over the years has clouded that natural instinct and I want to encourage and support the mantra of The Dumbells… I’m training dirty, eating clean and living in between!
