Dan, PLEASE let the Danettes host when possible.

Dan, the next time you take time off how’s about you let the team host. I am a daily listener but don’t bother when you have a guest host other than your team do the show.

BR What?

When the show was on a TV channel that people could accually see I caught atleast 45min a day. Now that it's moved to cable access pay streaming I only catch the Monday pod. Too bad boys. I'll hang in a bit longer, but once football is over and the talk turns to non stop basketball see ya.

My favorite sports podcasts

It’s not even close. I have been listening to Dan Patrick for years. I love his interview style and also his take on the sports news of the week. Whenever something big happens in the world of sports, I can’t wait to hear The DP show. Check it out.

Informative, smooth 🤙

If you are tired of professional trolls being touted as sports analysts because they yell-at and feud with athletes, cool out with some Dan Patrick Show. Dan and his crew put a lot of effort in to shining light on different angles of sports news. Dan also has a myriad of guest athletes whom he has storied relationships with, all the while being tactfully aggressive in forging connections with the ever changing new school.

Great

This is what sports analysis should be. Not what we see with first take or fox sports shows. Highly recommend this for sports interviews and analysis

Just A Failed Comedy Show Now

Used to be the best sports talk show out there. Now just a group of guys telling stories about nothing and trying to be funnier than the other. It's NFL and College Football season and it's like they can't come up with content. It's now the sports talk show for the Unsports fan

Show good podcast bad

The sheer amount of live (recorded)reads and inserted ads is insufferable. The humble self deprecating humor has evolved into humble brags and uninformed opinions based upon their inflated sense of self resulting from collective financial success. They try to maintain their humble beginnings but Dan’s faltering mind and the Dannetes silent acquiescence of his repetitive cool takes and outright incompetence betray the fact that they have totally sold out and are basically shills for the false narratives provided by their NFL and SEC overlords at most, or beholden to their ad income and lifestyle it begets to the detriment of their original mission giving the finger to ESPN and the rest of management across media. Sad. They still book good guests and I will continue to listen when I run out of other options.

Dan Patrick

For those that grew up watching him on SportsCenter, this is the same man with the love of all things sports with a personality that connects with you no matter what part of the country you’re from. The Danettes all add something different to the show. I listen every single day they’re in studio. It’s not worth listening to when they’re out (guest hosts can’t compete with Dan and the Danettes), but it’s can’t miss when they’re in. It almost takes me back to when I was a kid listening to a ball game on the radio.. they bring that much enthusiasm. Dan has a couple guests each day and he brings new stories to air each week so you don’t get bored of the same old thing day after day.

Cream of the crop podcast

Señor Dan Patrick y los Danetts are a superb bunch. This classy 3-hour show that DP has conducted over the years has only gotten better over the years. Continued success caballeros.

Great show

Great sports podcast with plenty of content. Take too much time off though, used to be two weeks a year, now they are off at least a week a month. If there were better fill-in hosts, it would be ok, but Dan must be leaning more towards part-time with his health issues.

Best in Business

Great show!!! 3 hrs a day n doesn’t get old. You can see how hard it is when they get a guest host that’s no good. Gottlieb n Jason Smith are the only two that come close and they struggle bc it’s not 5 guys knowing there roles. Dan is the Star player but needs help this late in his career. Paully is the 2nd option but could carry any team but not a championship team like he’s currently on. Seton n Mclovin are the lock down defenders that get you timely buckets, but most importantly always know when to let the star player shine.N then there’s Fritzy, the glue guy. He’s that guy that never takes a shot n know he’s there to set screens and rebound. On any other show Fritzy would bomb. A nicer host would let him ramble and ramble to the point where the show would get cancelled. It’d be like if Rodman went to the Wizards with MJ to play the Pippen role. My point is by themselves these guys would do decent, but together these guys are The Best In Business. Definitely worth listening to if you like sports at all.
