Witty & Unbelievably Inane

I’ve been listening to this podcast since 2008. I’m 25 now so this podcast has been the background noise to nearly HALF of my life. I still listen to all of the old ones - with John Oliver - in heavy rotation. It never gets old. Because of this ridiculous podcast I have osmosed an incredible amount of political, economic, cricket-based and genially pointless knowledge that will get me nowhere in life except in trivia...and probably to hell. If you like general knowledge, political satire, clever & witty humor combined with the maturity of an 8 year old - this is your podcast. Would give it 6 stars if it were an option.

Anuvab Pal is the best

The Bugle. It’s always been awesome, and it carries on that way. Anuvab Pal’s India News stories are always my absolute favorite!

It's puntastic

Andy Zaltzman is very funny as long as he isn't being punny. Since John Oliver left, the semi-regular guests have really carried the load, especially Alice Fraser and Nish Kumar.

Such a relief

I'm late to this game and only just started listening, but found myself laughing shortly into the first ep I tried. This podcast fills a perfect niche I was looking for. It's really funny, it's something I can zone out while listening to, then come back in without having to rewind, and it coveres real news and events. I only withold the 5th star until I've heard a few more episodes.

Who’d have thought it...

Andy Zaltzman is the Lennon to John(ny Hollywood) Oliver’s McCartney, who knew? I have been a big fan of the podcast for as long as I’ve listened to podcasts. Funny, informative, clever and ridiculous. Alice Fraser is a regular co-host and being introduced to her comedy is reason enough to have a listen

Crying and laughing simultaneously

This podcast is what I always hope a news podcast with commentary will be. Makes me feel like all the worlds shenanigans is survivable even if only for 30-40 minutes.

Fabulous podcast

By rights, Andy Zaltsman should be rich, because he's way funnier than other comics who are richer and more famous. But he takes it in stride. Don't miss the chance to see him if he's performing in your town. In addition to being the funniest comic around, he must also be the hardest working. The last time I saw him (in Washington, DC) he went for over two hours with one break of perhaps 15 minutes in the middle - and it was all good stuff. Support this man!
