Good podcast

I have been listening to this podcast for over 3 years now. Chris B. And Austin C. are fantastic. I actually learned of Cam from this podcast and had a reading w/ him. Informative and well put together. I must add however, Kelly’s voice is really difficult to adjust to. I’m not sure if it’s the way the accent comes across or high pitched tone against Chris’s cool as a cucumber demeanor, but it can be painful to listen to. Other than that it’s definitely worth tuning into.

Great podcast

I just started listening to this podcast a few months ago and really enjoy it. So many wonderful topics and guests. It makes me want to learn more about astrology. The content is excellent and monthly forecasts very useful. My only critique is technical. It sometimes seems like the volume on the female co-host’s mic is turned up too high compared to her two co-hosts for the monthly forecasts, making for an uneven audible experience for the listener. A minor note for an otherwise excellent podcast.

Sure

“SUreee” Chris you literally say this so many times, it’s kinda annoying and sounds condescending. Let your other hosts speak some more.

I want to love your podcast!

Please just notice how your voice sounds like you have zero interest in what you’re talking about. As an astrology lover, I really love the material but I keep zoning out because of how dry the host is. Also, laugh maybe one time?? One time!

Well sourced , relevant conversation

Chris Brennan objectively handles most topics relevant to astrology. He is careful to present information as we understand it from the source texts /Authors. This alone places The Astrology Podcast above many others in my opinion. A true scholar!

Projects negative occurrences

Empower people with optimism. I was liste I got to yearly horoscope report for 2020 and the lady would talk and the guy would repeat everything she just said. Why? You said your voice was hoarse. There are negative aspects mentioned nothing positive or encouraging.

A Budding Addiction

Love this! Almost a year alcohol free and now I have a new addiction - Astrology. Chris is probably one of the most smoothest smartest person I hear daily! I literally have been listening to as many episodes as possible. Fortunate to listen as I work, I find myself rewinding, jotting down notes and have ordered 3 astrology books since I’ve discovered this podcast. My 10th house gemini moon and sun/mars/venus 8th house has pulled me into the occult as if destined.

Yass

Episodes with Chris, Austin and Kelly all together are so educational and such a dynamic mix of personalities. Like the Paula, randy and Simon cowell of traditional astrology. Dense content but so informative, like a crash course for the committed student, Thank you guys!!!

Bravo!

I have been listening to your podcast for over a year now and it has helped increase my knowledge base of astrology exponentially. I am hooked! It is so refreshing to hear intelligent, astrological conversations that are so relevant and far reaching. I really appreciate that you acknowledge and include the many facets of astrology from traditional to modern, from Vedic to Western, and everything in between. The camaraderie that exist between the three of you is infectious and endearing, and it humorously balances the philosophical deep dives perfectly. Bravo to you all for creating such a great podcast!

Worst Ever Unless You Are An Astrology Geek

This Podcast is like a foreign language. It provided me with nothing in terms of personal insights. It was all just technical jargon about this "Trine" and that "Node" and so on... so if you don't have knowledge about these things don't bother.

Signs of the Zodiac

In all fairness, this is the one I did tune in on, and I’m sure, like anyone who read the title “Signs of the Zodiac” expected to hear about....the signs of the zodiac. And we did, but only after 45 minutes of what sounded like the passive-aggressive, knowledge pissing contest edition of a 3-player game of “that’s nice, so MY college-educated take on this is....” babbling. Informed and correct babbling, but I didn’t exactly come to this particular podcast episode to hear detailed interpretations of Yin and Yang. I’m gonna give a few more episodes some other informative listens, but with my hand on the x15 forward button the whole time.

Re the houses episode

Really love how C and K are so generous with house determinations. For me a lot of my house interpretation comes from years of experience of what my practice has shown me. Eg, some sex is 8th, private and not related to love (5) or partnership(7). Some pets are 5th in my experience and some are 6- some serve the client and some are the client’s true love. (I practice Vedic and traditional western, now learning Hellenistic ty Chris!)

It only gets better!!

Thank you for the change up!! I am a long-time listener... wait who is to say that you guys have been doing this a long time. Respect! I’ve been listening about 4 years. I really like when you guys address the astrology at the beginning of the episode because you all have much more energy towards the dates and Key events of the month it’s much more quality banter and you guys are sharp versus when we address the astrology at the end of the episode and sometimes things just get brushed over and we don’t get as much of your personal style as an astrologist from each of you I love you guys thank you for what you do please keep it up and thanks for keeping us in mind.

It’s lit

Really the best show of its kind a shining example of what an excellent podcast is. The monthly forecasts are invaluable (as are the side discussions. You get “drums and space” at a dead show, and you get side discussions here. They’re awesome, always worth it and essential to the show.) as are the other interviews throughout the month. Chris’ podcast is a gateway drug to all things Astro and a marvelous contribution to the community.

Like watching paint dry

I watched the episode “Reincarnation and Astrology,” over an 1.5 hour that I can never get back. The interviewer/host asked the most boring, non-relevant questions. I don’t care how many big words he knows or how many philosophical frameworks he’s familiar with, but that’s all he talked about! Not to mention the name dropping! I listened to the whole thing even though my eyes glazed over, but I barely got any concrete tips on how to look at a birth chart and get insight into past lives. The host’s monotone voice and lack of sense of humor doesn’t help at all either. The guest was much more entertaining (and actually made a few jokes, gasp!, but the host didn’t laugh at them). This attitude of “I’m better than you because I can say big words and make astrological concepts sound complicated” is what I hope we all start to steer away from, making astrology more accessible and helpful to the average person.

Great content

I just started listening to this podcast a few months ago, and have mostly enjoyed it. The content is excellent and monthly forecasts very useful. My main critique is technical. It seems like the volume on the female co-host’s mic is turned up too high compared to her two co-hosts, making for an uneven audible experience for the listener. Or she may be unaware that she’s occasionally shouting into the microphone, in stark contrast to her two softer, gentler toned co-hosts. Whatever it is, it’s really grating on my ears and makes the podcast almost unlistenable for me. Hope this review helps to address any technical issues you may be experiencing.
