Great Podcast

Getting the sound issues dialed in, but great for MFTs.

Sound

Can't listen to it very long without sound issues - does this ever get fixed?

Great content, poor sound

I love the content on this podcast, but I end up turning it off fairly quickly because I am having to work to hear what is being said clearly - and there are plenty of other podcasts that have similar content of high quality AND quality sound.

What a great idea!

We can read books written by leaders in our field. We can hear them speak at conferences. We can learn their theories. But what about the "person" behind the theory. Knowing more about what makes leaders "tick," brings their work to life. Thanks, Eli, for doing this!

A treasure

The AAMFT podcast is a treasure. When I was training to become an MFT in the late 1999s, I longed to hear the voices of the leaders in the field, the authors of my books, and innovators of models. The AAMFT podcast provides an easily accessible archive of classic interviews.

Dr. Eli is a great host

Dr. Eli is the MFT voice of our generation. I learn something new every time I listen to one of his podcasts. This should be required listening for all MFT students!

Great Podcast...informative host!

This is a great complement to my training as a MFT. You can tell how passionate and knowledgeable Dr. Eli is about the profession and how much homework he does for each one of his guest. I wish they were released every week...thanks AAMFT! Keep them coming!

My Favorite Podcast

Dr. Eli is my hero! He asks great questions that are relevant to practicing therapists, old and young alike. The interviews with the pioneers are my favorite...keep them coming! It’s like my FT text book coming to life. AAMFT should promote this show better.

Inspiring and insightful

As a graduate student pursuing my MFT degree, coming from a different profession entirely, this podcast provides insights beyond academia. It’s wonderful to hear the innovative ideas in the field that promotes divergent thinking. I highly recommend this to anyone looking into getting this type of work. The quality of the sound has improved since the first episode but the most important thing is the content, which is what I focus on. Keep up the good work!

Interesting but poor sound quality

A very interesting interview with Dr. Sue Johnson! The sound quality of the interview is inconsistent and full of echos.
