So Funny

Frank and Susie have great banter. You guys should watch John Tucker Must Die or Drop Dead Gorgeous comedies I enjoyed when I was a kid though I don't know how they hold up.

The One Podcast I Listen to As Soon As It Appear in My Feed

I really love Teen Girl Talk. It feels like I'm just listening to two friends of mine talk about movies, tv, and books they like and complain about what they didn't. It's funny and relaxing, and it is a break from the rest of the world. You don't even need to see or read anything they are talking about to enjoy this podcast.

Hilarious and thought provoking

TGT cracks me up! It's really fun to retread old movies from my teenage years as well as be exposed to some new "gems." But the hosts really make the show. They play off of each other beautifully and have wild and wry senses of humor. Some of the tangents they go off on will have you in tears from laughing so hard (one of my favorites being the debate over an actor's age in the Power Rangers episode). The show also has some great conversations about gender roles in movies and how our media caters to different tropes for teens, and it's fascinating to hear the hosts discuss and sometimes argue over those plot points. Listen to TGT- you'll have an awesome time, feel like you know Frank and Suesie in no time, and be laughing along with them!

I can't believe how much I can't stop listening to this.

The hosts do a smart and funny job of going over media I haven't thought about in 15 years. Additionally, I finally know the plot of some of those old movies I didn't see but people make references to. Just days after I listened to the 10 Things I Hate About You episode, someone referenced it in conversation and I was able to contribute a joke which got laughter because the movie was fresh in my mind. THANKS TEEN GIRL TALK. They alternate between good and bad source material and hate on stuff that deserves it while giving appreciation to stuff that holds up. These are good good podcasting siblings.

TGT is a Gem!

The hosts are fantastic, and the subject matter is instantly recognizable. In my crowded pod feed full of bad news and true crime, TGT is a breath of cotton candy scented fresh air. Give this pod a try, you won't regret it!
