Informative, educational, and fun!

Just because it’s tech news, doesn’t mean that it can’t be fun. This podcast is a great passionate round up of the week’s top tech news, but it also maintains a great sense of humor.

Looking forward to Megan and Jason

Megan off to a good start as sole anchor, should just keep getting better when Jason comes on in January. Good move, TWiT.

Unsubscribed, do not recommend.

When TNT lost Tom Merritt as its host, I was so disappointed in Mike Elgan as a replacement. But I felt giving him the benefit of knowing it takes time to get into the groove of a new gig was fair. Well, that was almost two years ago, and Elgan has failed to capture my interest. This show, along with everything else from the perishing TWiT network, is tainted by the perverse ringleader Leo Laporte.

The loss of a great podcast

This used to be a great podcast when Tom was on, but now that Mike Elgan has taken over, it's turned into a real snooze fest. I'm sorry to see an era end.

What Is Leo Thinking

Today I had to delete this feed. I used to watch it faithfully while on the treadmill every morning. However the podcast is so boring now. I know that Leo states if you don't like the new show your a troll. I guess I'm a troll because I hate this show now.

New Format Lacks Energy

Sadly, I must agree with the recent reviewers. TNT used to be my go-to podcast for tech news. The new format lacks energy and literally puts me to sleep. I admire TWiT greatly, and hope they can work through the kinks and get TNT back to superior form.

Unexpected changes

I had no idea that Tom and Iyaz had left the show. Downloaded a few recent episodes and thought the different host line-up and seating arrangements might be due to some vacations around the holidays. Then the line-up stayed the same, and an Internet search showed that Tom had left the show (perhaps voluntarily, perhaps not?), as had Iyaz. Still love Sarah Lane and Mike seems like a nice enough guy, but the chemistry is sorely lacking. Maybe it will come in time, but I sure hate to see Tom and Iyaz gone. Seems some of it was situational, due to some geographical moves, etc. Wish everyone nothing but the best, though.

Drastic Change

I typically don't review things like this but after giving the show a handful of listens after the start of the new year I just can't do it with Mike & Sarah. I love Sarah and I enjoy Mike as a guest on This Week In Tech but I just can't listen to TNT in it's now current form. Maybe it's just an adjustment period for Mike but the mind numbing prompter reading is just dreadful at times. Wasn't a huge fan of TNT only watching 1 or 2 shows a week but now see how much Tom and Iaz made it what it was.

I'm here for the news

I unsubscribed. Mike is boring and unnatural. Sarah has more face time now and there is not enough contrast between them for the opinions to be interesting and valid.

What happened...?!

Used to be a great tech newscast with a lot of variety -- suddenly there are primarily just 2 commentaters. The new guy seems like he would be better at writing stuff than being in front of a camera -- very monotone, sort of like watching ambien. One last podcast to sync now :-(
