A request to stick to intellectuals

So much more interesting when TB interviews authors of serious books or cultural commentators

Uniquely Engaging Interview Style

I've just listened to the most recent episode with Bill Browder, and I'm offically hooked. The Browder interview, in particular, explores depths that I rarely hear from interviewers when someone as preternaturally fascinating and incisive as Browder is sitting opposite them. His is a riveting story involving characters whose noble adherence to principle and quest for vengeance is almost taken straight from a novel. It's also a tale of the virtues of the rule of law and how the absence of robust institutions and oversight actually leads to the collapse of free markets and independence- all this in less than 40 minutes! I applaud Brown for creating a relaxed environment for the interviewee, without missing a beat.
