LOVE THESE “Scary” OTR Shows!

I got a Radio for my 12th Bday in the 70’s. A local Radio station would play “scary” Old Time Radio Shows after the 11pm news. I would listen and scare myself ! I don’t know what made me think to google OLD TIME RADIO but it lead me to here. These are REALLY GREAT Episodes. Some are cheesy & dated but that’s the fun of listening. I can usually guess what the ending might be BUT there are a lot that have a surprise ending. Thank You for these SUPER HIGH QUALITY Recordings. FIVE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s & 2 👍🏼👍🏼

My absolute favorite!

My mom use to turn on radio dramas on long car rides when I was younger. I didn’t truly appreciate them until I realized they weren’t around anymore! I couldn’t find anything similar to those until I found these!! There aren’t any podcasts out there like this one!! I listen to these every single day on my lunch break and on my drive to and from work. I’m obsessed. If there isn’t a new episode out, I listen to one I’ve already heard and it’s just as good the second time around! Please please don’t stop making these! This is my happy place. I love each and every episode! Well done

Just what I was looking for!

I became a fan of old time radio back when I was a teenager in the 1980s. My parents got me into listening to Abbot and Costello, then I moved on to The Shadow and other dramas. Much later when I was working a second shift job, I found many more old time radio programs that I really enjoyed. My only wish was that they were a little better as far as the production quality goes. Recently I have been looking for new or versions of the old time radio programs. This fits the bill to a T!

Its good not great

Easy listening, mindless episodes. Good story lines (some episodes bad acting) that doesn't go too deep. Endings are not what one would say are surprise ending, but un-like "The Truth" each episode has closure. Good stuff to listen to while driving are at work.

Very creative!

I really enjoy the modern approach to an old radio classic. Keep the good work! My only criticism is the acting is sometimes not very good. It distracts from the storyline, especially when accents are being used. Otherwise, great job!

New content?

Sound is good and there seems to be plenty of good episodes. The only complaint I have is that they seem to rerelease old episodes regularly
