    Love her

Would give her 5 stars if we didn’t have ads But these are really good as this is who she became and it helps me remember my own path ... just glad she’s around to inspire folks I look at the country now and am so heart broken by such alienation We need people like Oprah especially in the young black communities I am glad she has a school in South Africa - we need those here

My favs ! Oprah and Shaka!!

Firstly, Oprah my whole life was shaped by you!! Shaka you are an whole inspiration! My brother passed recently he had an asthma attack, and from lack of oxygen to his brain he never recovered. He spent a lot of his life in prison and then drug prison and lastly he was in prison in his own body! God set him free! I will never know if drugs induced his asthma attack, it’s not for me to know. I always imagined him being like you. That didn’t happen. He is with the Lord. We called him Peter. Love!

    Meaningful!!

This information really came in a beautiful time of my life. I learned a lot from listening to this conversation. That being said, it was hard to hear Oprah interrupt so often. Really makes me cringe but I know she wasn’t meaning to do it. I love the content though!

    Meditate On This

From all the published materials, video lectures and podcasts offering spiritual advice the only one that works is taking a moment each day to practice gratitude. That’s all there is to it, folks. Now let’s all move on, save our precious time and hard-earned money on other more tangible ways to feel better—for free—like seriously moving, taking short walks outdoors (when weather permits) to strengthen our muscles and heart in preparation for the next viral mutation.

    Unlistenable

A bit out of touch. The targeted ads played at 3x the volume is a horrible tactic used in a lot of media, so it’s sad to see it here (especially McDonalds). I enjoy Oprah but I had to turn it off after she interrupted so many times and shared her experiences other than listen to the guest share theirs. The interviewer should not be speaking as much (or more than) the interviewee. Also some of the guests and the information shared is just incredibly out of touch to the reality a lot of us are facing today. Making spiritual growth sound easy and accessible to all is inaccurate and probably invalidating for a lot of people. It would be great if inequality regarding this was addressed a bit more. I am just so sick and tired of hearing rich/famous people gloat. We get it you have multiple houses and have the time and money to pick up a new hobby every week to better yourself. Some of the recordings aren’t too bad but most are so so hard to listen to.

    Wow!

I just listened to Oprah and Glennon Doyle. Oprah’s comment on black sheep of a family & their discussion on the idea hit home; definitely something I’ll need to ponder. Glennon’s response to her child about love & death is beautiful, also fertile ground for thought. Her story resonates with me, I’ll have to check out her books. I’ve enjoyed Oprah’s books in the past and many interviews but have lost touch over recent years. I didn’t know she had a podcast and will likely add this to the regular list. I never knew who Glennon was prior to an interview on Jay Shetty’s podcast and I was impressed. I rediscovered her on her own podcast during an interview with the amazing Brene Brown. I guess birds of a feather really do… Thank you Oprah & Glennon. I’ll look for more content by both.

So turned off by this man’s view. Sexist, viewing women as below men- needing men to “protect” women. Old fashioned view of men and women. And Oprah acting giddy by his words. Yuck. Big turn off

Oprah and Brené - Thank you!

I don’t know if I can find enough vocabulary to express my admiration, respect, and love to these two brilliant women. They speak directly to our souls. Hoping that the random negativity (online) will not discourage them both from spreading their God-given wisdom to the world. In fact, there should be an accreditation or recognition system created and named after each one of these women, since they both are setting the highest global standards of our life time in Humanity and CivilityMuch Blessings!
