Interesting podcast

I really enjoy listening to this podcast. Willie always has interesting guests. The only thing I would suggest changing is dropping the overview at the beginning. We don’t want to hear a summary... just get right to it! Keep the great guests coming!

No depth

Sorry but Willie is not a good interviewer - doesn’t ask deep questions.

Skip the chat with producer

The chat at the beginning and the end with the producer adds nothing to the podcast. Skip it. We do not want to fast forward to find where the producer chat ends and the interview begins. Get right to the great interview!

Every Sunday Morning!

I look forward to this podcast every week! I appreciate Willie’s interview style and the in-depth perspective that we get through the podcast. I also love the quality and diversity of guests - I’ve learned and gained something from each of them. I especially enjoyed the Sterling K. Brown interview - really inspiring.

Favorite Podcast!!

Absolutely love this podcast. It’s like listening in to a conversation, doesn’t even feel like an interview. Thank you for inviting us along!

Love the podcast no need to give us a preview!

Listened to all the episodes- love Willie’s style and the way he and the guests connect. However, no need to preview what the guest will say- I’d like to hear it from them! And you and your producers talk over one another which is not fun to listen to. Just do a 1 minute here’s where we did the interview and get to it. If you want to discuss do what Conan does and talk after!

Long time listener-love the show but...

Does not need the pre-show banter with producers. Just air the interviews. Willie is great on his own.

Co-host/producer(s)..

They aren’t necessary to the talking points. They just repeat what Willie says. And stop with the pre-interview recaps. Just get right to the guests.

Miranda

Really enjoyed your interview w/ Miranda Lambert! Have loved her music for years, her songwriting alone ranks her up w/ the greats. I also love the moment she got any clout in her career she started a The Annies and spotlighted 2 more great singer songwriters! Her continuing support of female artists doesn’t go unnoticed.

Game Changer!

My cable line-up does not give us this weekly broadcast on tv. So thrilled to have an opportunity to hear it on podcast. Catching up on all of the episodes I have missed.

Game Changer!

Finding Willie Geist’s Sunday Sitdown was a game changer for me as I spend several hours each month driving for work. I had never listened to a podcast before and WG far exceeded my expectations! His interviews are relaxed, informative, and entertaining. He treats his guests with kindness and respect. His questions are just what a listener wants to hear. I was already a huge WG fan, but now my respect for his journalism skills and admiration of his genuine personality have leaped to the next level! Thank you Willie! You are a blessing to your listeners!

Willie Geist

Willie, I love your Sunday show and I admire you whenever you’re on many shows. However, I have a problem with your pants. They are not flattering to your thighs and calves. Please go back to normal pants and shine without the knees poaching out and clinging to to your legs. I’ll still continue Sunday Today and anywhere when you’re on TV because you’re so thoughtful, funny, laugh easily and very precise in your words.Ms Gerry Hall in Midwest City OK

Sunday sitdown

Some of the interviews are great and some are just promoting whatever show they are on or have coming. But the good thing about podcasts is you can just skip to the next one.
