Like a book report with too many ads
The concept is super interesting, I’m always looking for neat history facts and would love to find a podcast that presented them in way that’s easy to remember. But man these hosts are boring. Hard to listen to voices that just read at you rather than conversational. It’s like having someone read you a Wiki article. And why so many ads? I feel like it’s a 12 minute podcast with 35 minutes of ads.

These must be wealthy women. Consider the amount of ads! The podcast is almost not worth listening to because of the excessive am. 80% ads, 20% content. 👎🏽

Woke & Condescending
I’ve tried to listen to this podcast dozens of times but the two host “historians” are loathsome. Every episode has potential that’s instantly obliterated by the utterly silly woke bias. History 101-level training teaches you to not use your condescending, pedantic 21st-century theories to judge historical figures who lived hundreds of years ago. How about more fact, less opinion? I wasn’t going to mention the shrill, nasally voices, but they deserve it since most episodes involve them snidely snorting—literally snorting—at any white male historical figure. If you love inaccurate “history” and gross condescension, listen & subscribe, because Tracy & Holly know far more than you.

Interesting & Informative
I enjoy listening to this podcast. You’re not going to get a deep dive, it’s more of an overview on each topic. But that’s fine. You can always seek out more information on your own. I only listen to the episodes that sound interesting, it’s not a podcast where I eagerly download each episode. I’m giving four stars because of the format. Instead of a lively discussion, the hosts explain their research to each other. It’s not awful, but the discussions could be better. Still would recommend.

Annoying hosts
They just read. And laugh unnecessarily with even more unnecessary excited inflections. Both have too much audible saliva. I can still hear it playing and I regret not stopping it before I started typing this response.
