I’m so grateful for this podcast

As someone just venturing into tarot learning, I am so grateful for the thought and intention put into this podcast. It has expanded my understanding of witchcraft, archetypes, religion, and human nature SO MUCH. And episode 36 with their speech from the Witch’s Confluence tore open my understanding of patriarchy and my father wound and hit me dead in the heart. I’m so looking forward to what these two wonderful witches do next.

A much needed tonic for the heart

The guided heart mediation in episode #38 is exactly what I needed. I’ve learned that the heart has a language of its own and if I slow down and listen, it will gently tell me exactly what it needs to be vibrant and grow. I have a warmth and softness inside my heart that I’ve never felt before and suddenly want to share with others. The walls have started to crumble. I can’t thank you enough.

Just...WoW

Hi Amanda, I’m so happy I “chanced upon” your podcast! This episode (#40) on the coming Winter Solstice cracked my heart wide open this morning. You, and many others: Lindsay Mack @wildsoultarot, Pam Grossman @phantasmaphile & @thewitchwave, Ashleah Walker @ceremony_dc, and others closer by and more familiar, are helping me bring a beautiful and empowering completion to this most challenging Hanged Man year for me. The poem you read made me weep for my own losses. Your rituals excited in me a hunger to let those losses pass into the night. Thank you! I’m another devoted listener. Blake/Bodhi Sansterre

Adore this podcast

I freakin’ love this podcast! The hosts are funny, intelligent, well spoken, and do a wonderful job of citing their sources and teaching/history. I have learned so much about Tarot and being a witch from them. And I adore how conscientious they are about intersectionality and justice issues. If I could rate five hearts I would!!

So much learning!

Love it. I’m late to the game and I would call myself a novice witch. This podcast makes tarot more accessible! I tried learning by pulling a card a day and this is an amazing resource. I also appreciate how thoughtful they are with inclusivity. I just learned my soul card is the lovers thanks to them and that’s the next episode on my playlist. Excited to learn!

Accessible insight into the mystical

I’m about 20 episodes in and am hooked. The hosts give such a balanced and deep insight into their practices, paired with personal stories and topical episodes outside the tarot as well. Thank you for making this, I feel like I’m learning a lot and it is helping me understand readings I receive better without as much blind faith in the reader. Check out their newsletters too!

My favorite podcast! And Amanda’s book is amazing!

This has become my favorite podcast. I love the way Sarah and Amanda provide their personal insights. Also- I absolutely love Amanda’s book, Initiated. Her journey is truly remarkable and inspirational. As with the podcast, i also love the way she weaves her “big picture” political and social views into her own personal narrative. A must-read!

MORE than a podcast

I have been waiting to write a review of Strange Magic, thinking that the perfect words would come to me when the time was right; thoughts and praises for this special magic that these 3 amazing women have created rolling around in my head daily, just waiting to come together. After listening to episode 38 though, I have to write this review now, ready or not. I sat up from the meditation and tears just streamed down my face, I knew I couldn’t wait any more.Strange Magic is more than a podcast. Sarah, Amanda, and Carolyn are so much more than podcast creators, they are a gift, this show is a GIFT. I can probably count on one hand how many episodes of this show have NOT made me cry. Sarah is a gifted teacher, her words reach into my head and unlock a part of my soul that I didn’t know existed. Amanda; with her honey-sweet, vivacious and oh-so-sensual, juicy soul that comes through every episode, lights up my heart and spirit. I thank the Goddexx for leading me home . . . to Strange Magic, every time I listen. THANK YOU: to these 3 amazing witches for bringing that sexy 3 of Cups energy to every episode, and for all that you do and offer all of us. There is nothing strange about this podcast just . . . magic.

Love

Thank you, witches. Your podcasts got me through a painful and emotional anxiety attack while driving solo through the Nevada desert. I’ll spare you the details, but you saved me and I am forever grateful. Thank you for making me laugh and cry and feel a lot less alone for many hours. xoxo PS Your embodiment of the Empress and Emperor, specifically, had me both laughing and crying. I love you both.
