Congratulations

A great ‘true crime‘ podcast is not about its fancy editing or expensive audio equipment or even the big media credentials behind it.. Instead, in my opinion a great podcast is one that engages an audience and in its very existence becomes something bigger than itself.. a mechanism for hope, for justice and for peace for these struggling friends and families. Keep up the important work! Craig @ pifiles.TV

Very good !

The host does an excellent job interviewing all the people involved, that she’s been able to reach. I’m always glad to hear a podcast where the victim’s personality is gone into in depth. It’s nice to get to “ meet” her through family and friends. She’s not just a missing person on a poster, you’ve given color and life to her. I’m hoping you won’t give up and this might get someone to come forward and give even a small piece of information that will give a clue to the authorities to move forward. Thank you for doing this

Not very interesting case

I started this podcast with high hopes, but about half way through the episodes became very disappointed. There are many questions in this case and not many answers. The research involved talking to many of Susan’s high school friends and hearing various stories about her which aren’t adding much to the investigation. Also, the loud bleeps to block out names are annoying and one time a name kept being bleeped and then wasn’t in another instance so you could hear the name of the person anyway. The podcast could have consisted of 2 episodes and covered everything important.

Interesting

First, thank you for doing your part to get her story out there. It means so much for the missing to be given a voice. Second, I really enjoy this podcast. I like the interviews, the unfolding of events, steady, easy to follow. I also enjoy the little historical ads you pepper through. It really helps to set the mood of the time period all of this is taking place. I just started listening today and I’m already on episode 5.

Music makes it difficult to hear

The chiming music over the detective makes it very difficult to hear him . The audio is already unclear as it is with him .

Expertly done

Kara’s voice is a pleasure to listen to and the content is fascinating. I look forward to more. (I hope there will be more!)I’m so impressed that this is her first podcast show. It sounds like she’s been doing it for years! One teeny thing—the reviewer that mentioned her pronunciation of “especially” is correct...it was the only bad thing. It was like a sour note on a good song! It really stood out because the rest of it sounded so good!

nicely done

for someone who hadnt did any prior podcasts the editing is impressive. I can relate with her in the thought that have followed missing persons cases but havent acted on helping so I applaud the podcaster for this. This is narrated very well too. Please continue this is a much needed service to these victims and their families. Thank you for all that you do!

Teen boyfriend

Sooo good! Thank you for your efforts and talents and keeping breathing new life into her story. I just have to share that the last episodes interview with her “boyfriend” made me uneasy and think about different interviews he had throughout, and I would love to hear what a law enforcement professional has to say about it, but I think that boyfriend and the “resort” his parent bought need to be looked at again. God bless and good luck to all involved.

Unfolding...

like a 30 year old mystery novel; slowly, and with numerous twists and turns. Imagine Kinsey Millhone learns to podcast as she investigates...between the jogging and peanut butter & pickle sandwiches.
