Paul shouldn’t throw so many stones if he married a glass house

Imagine being married to someone who HATES Bernie Sanders so much she won’t even talk about him. But wants to give GEORGE W BUSH another shot. GEORGE BUSH. So Bernie would be bad at foreign policy but let’s give Bush some love. YIKES. This is too funny as well because Paul is always very smug with stupid people like this and it turns out he’s married to one and doesn’t call it like it is. so Paul next time you’re going to roast some dumb guy on Twitter start with your wife. Start with Bernie and Bush. And Janie you can check out some really cool Iraq war statistics in between auditions.

Quarantine made fun!

Janie and Paul are funny and adorable. I can’t think of any couple I would rather share a pandemic with.

Ummmm... it’s great

A scenario where I never want this to end, but also that means we’re still quarantined. Catch 22. Love the show

The next best thing to a live conversation.

I live alone, and in the past six months I’ve only been able to see a total of two friends for an aggregate eight hours; I feel like I live on a space station. This podcast makes me feel like I am hanging out with a couple that is going through a lot of relatable things and welcoming me into their lives. It’s a comforting distraction that really feels like an actual hangout. Sure, they don’t let me get a word in, but they’re hilarious enough that it’s worth it.

Why oh why

Did I not rate this sooner? Blame it on laziness? Anyway, I'm an "essential" worker, making a state college safe for students to return to. This podcast helps me get through the day, and makes me feel better. It's not groundbreaking (the husband and wife podcast is not new), but when the conversation is not directed toward a end goal is refreshing! Definitely worth a listen and give stars!

Great

It’s like sitting at your home table while working from home and two people sitting around with you making you laugh. It’s great.

Laughing @ Paul F Tompkins Laughing

Always enjoy how openly PFT laughs and his enthusiasm for people tripping over their sentences. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him laugh this much. These two is awesome.

Comforting conversation during the pandemic

I’m a fan of PFT. It took me a few eps to warm up to Janie, but now I really enjoy both and appreciate their chemistry and their way of telling stories. I look forward to new eps every week and I hope they continue this series long after the pandemic ends. It’s a small piece of comfort in this chaotic world.

yes, this exactly

Two incredibly funny, smart performers who know each other really well engaging about the pandemic, TV shows, marriage and lockdown. Paul F. Tompkins is an incredibly funny comedian and actor and Janie Haddad Tompkins is super-smart and hilarious. I love them and I wish they lived in my neighborhood

Safe. Sane. Home.

Why WOULDN’T you want to listen to the Burns & Allen of podcasting? You’d be “cuckoo” not to! Was that an inside reference? Listen and find out that it yes, it absolutely was! Why else would I put quotes around it??!!

Approachable

I love listening to this podcast. Both of the hosts are incredibly amenable and I feel like I am sitting in their living room just hanging out. Wonderful quarantine (and general) entertainment.

Oof!

I feel bad for how grating I find Jainey. She has difficulty focusing and seems really out of touch, overly charmed by her own nods to camera and relentlessly repeated turns of phrase. Hey, maybe I’m just jealous bc I’m getting sober and she’s committed to podcasting tipsy. All I know is I’ve tried to get thru three different episodes and tap out every time. Paul is reliably great, but that doesn’t save this one from being excruciating!

Absolute joy of a show

This podcast is a crime against God and humanity, and is absolutely the only thing getting me through quarantine. 10/5 stars.
