Good science tedious conversation

I really would like to rate this higher because of the subject matter. I love Dr Tysons seemingly broad base of knowledge on the subjects discussed. My issue is the constant banter that has little to do with the topic. The comedy can be great at times but more often it interrupts, and leads to unrelated tangents. Then the time is used up on items that have little to do with the original topic. A typical show that could answer 10 questions only answers four do to the banter. I still listen to almost every episode for the science and interesting guests. I just wish they were allowed to talk more and not constantly interrupted and talked over by Dr Tyson.

Startalk is MY podcast (play on president saying)

I have learned so much from Startalk, it’s the perfect outlet for all things science. Dr. Tyson has a “Bill-Nye-esque” style of making learning so interesting. Highly recommend to anyone remotely interested in thinking.

Band nerd skeptic show for dorks

Great if you want to listen to 50-something year old virgins sitting around a Denny’s breakfast table, criticizing ufos & alien lore in the least humorous way possible.

Great but not comedy

It’s like a mix of science, interrupting guests, and horrendous comedy where the two hosts like to talk more than listen. Ditch chuck. If I wanted horrible comedy I would just google dad jokes and watch fart videos. Please, please, stop interrupting your guests. Please? Love the science but when I have to hear the constant interruptions and stupid jokes I end up putting a new podcast on.

Manners and respect.

I think this podcast is interesting and funny and educational!...however, it’s very difficult to listen to Neil host because he’s constantly interrupting the guests. The guest speaker typically struggles to put together one thought or sentence without being cut off for an unnecessary (and I’m assuming meant to be witty) comment. He needs to allow the speaker to speak!
