Top Notch Man and Podcast
This guy gets it. He’s a Bulldog with no off switch making previous law enforcement efforts seem lackluster at best. He doesn’t know the meaning of “no” when it comes to getting the information needed to put pressure on the guilty. Everything about this podcast is top shelf (I listen to a lot of true crime pods). Thank you for all you do!🙏

David Ridgen is one of THE best!
I am an avid true crime podcast listener and I am a huge fan of David and Connie from CBC. The research and humanity David brings to these stories is absolutely amazing. His voice is so soothing and you can almost feel him relating, understanding, his empathy and his ability to asking questions with respect and humility.

One of the best podcasts I have listened to!
Can’t say enough about this whole series! Dave shares these stories as if you’re right there with him - truly talented. I’ve listened to many podcasts and this is by far my favorite. Can’t say enough about season 2 and 3.

Best podcast out there
I recently found this podcasts while trying to find another true crime podcast. This is probably one of the best podcasts that I have heard to date. David does some truly important work, trying to reopen cold cases and provide closure for these families. I hope there is a season 7.

Highly Recommend
I have listened to season 6 and most of season 5. One of THE BEST podcasts out there. David is an excellent host and investigator. Some of his interviews in Season 5 are riveting, excuse the cliche’. Looking forward to other seasons and new ones to come.

Actual Reporting
It’s nice to find a podcast where the host does actual reporting. So many other podcasts are just recitations of Wikipedia entries and news articles, with some jokes and personal stories thrown in.

Captivating!
I found myself “binge listening” to the podcast. Being from Mississippi the story that takes place there regarding Dee and Moore really hit home. I cried, laughed, and cheered as the story unfolded and justice was served. Thank you for telling these stories and having an open mind towards your reporting. Highly recommended!

Speaking my piece, as usual. 🙌🏽
A middle school student asked me the other day when in history class would they learn about the Klan. I told him I assumed that was high school content, because that’s when they learn modern history, and carried on with The Middle Ages. Modern history. Think about that. Modern history. Within the last hundred years the Klan was VERY active in the history of America. Thinking about it as I begin season three of this podcast made me realize a simple fact. There are a lot of things from the history of our country that are so very bad, they’re deemed unfit to discuss with children. Children as old as 13 or 14 years, and modern history falls into that category. History in your lifetime, folks. So, I’m not in the least bit upset the racist Seuss books were pulled or the racist white country singer was outed, or about any number of other things being called what they are. There’s a history in this country of pretending everything is okay when it definitely is not. And we All know how bad racism, prejudice, and discrimination of people of color has been. How bad it still is in some places. We know it well enough to keep it from our children until they’re older so we don’t traumatize them. How sad is that? I say let’s keep on making this a world where that stuff is nothing more than past history, eh? Let’s do it for that kid because he deserves not only a better curriculum, but a better world, and every American deserves a modern history they can be proud of. Regardless of the color of their skin, or sexual orientation, or gender identity, or socioeconomic status, or fill in the blank here. Anyway, thank you for coming down from Canada for season three to remind us all why we must continue to own and change our history, and thank you for high quality content to binge! I started season one a couple of weeks ago, and just finished two! I am, however, developing a bit of a Canadian twang, but it meshes well with my Eastern KY accent! 😉
