Season 6Donnies mom had anxiety and would smell smoke, then to find out he was burned. Her dreams go with the smoke smell, as they occurred in a forest. If you are not a believer in spirits you should be now. I have not finished season 6 yet so I am hoping and praying that he is found so his mother has some sense of closure. The not knowing 100% has got to be the worst feeling ever. To Donnies mother, the smoke smell and the dreams were him talking to you but that comes from the deep bond you two had. He knows you must have a definitive answer in order to move forward in some sense of the word. The love you shared is so evident. May god bless you and hold you close, providing you answers.

Best Yet

I’ve listened to quite a few true crime podcasts. This is hands down one of the best I have listened to. David is an awesome host, and he really knows how to keep the listener hooked. His research is very thorough, and it’s clear that he cares about the families he’s helping. I can’t wait for more!

I love David Ridgen

Someone Knows Something is, hands down, my favorite podcast. The depth of David’s research is unmatched. I can feel the compassion and empathy for the victim’s loved ones as well as for the victims coming through. I need a new season!

Nice podcast. Realistic outcomes

I find it funny how many people expect that David and his team are going to uncover something groundbreaking like it’s some sort of detective show. This podcast is a good peek into real life tragedies and results that sometimes aren’t ideal.

Perfection in narrative- with a flaw-

This is a great show- incredibly written and constructed with a consistent narrative that keeps you on the edge your seat. The narrator / producer does a fantastic job in interviewing everyone he comes in contact with - in interviews he is easy going, compassionate and genuinely involved. HOWEVER, in his narrative voiceover he teeters on the edge of salaciousness that neither reflects his interactions with the interviewee or the respects the established overall tone.

S1 not much there

I liked production values but story was stretched out too much. S1 should say nobody knows

Thoughtfully told stories that are gripping, emotional and thought provoking. Agree with other feedback - it would be great to have more Canadian stories as this is a CBC broadcast.

Keep up the great work!

Hands down my favourite podcast. The seasons always go by far too fast, always left wanting more. David’s storytelling and interviewing styles are so engaging. I really hope someday there is some closure for these families. Keep up the great work SKS! 👍
