Just writing this to counter all the fools on here

It’s incredible to me how people feel the need to control other peoples body’s and how fervently they will fight other people and their OWN beliefs. You can do whatever you want to your own body but leave your thoughts and laws off mine. Men especially need to SIT DOWN for once in their lives. My body, my choice.

    Dishonest

Firstly, i just witnessed my iphone’s app independently give this podcast 5 stars on my behalf, with no input from myself. I caught it and adjusted it. But now i know how they have manipulated this to the top of podcast list. Reality is not what it seems my friends. This show is further proof. The creators have spent no time discussing how Ann, since the trial, has officially stated, on the record , she lied about the “r” word in hopes to sway the court. Similar to how this podcast embellished details, stretched facts, and manipulated figures to “honey-dikk” the listener. Regardless, facts wont stop a million democrats from acting like experts. I implore you to do your own research!!!

    Trying very hard

To get past the sing-song narration. Seriously, every single sentence has the same cadence. The host needs to invest in some voice coaching.

    Trash

I’m a woman. Anything that supports abortion as “healthcare” and a “woman’s right” is trash at best. Women are better than this and deserve better - women deserve the truth! I personally work with women who have had abortions and almost every single one of them has been put into depression by it. They feel they were lied to when they were told this choice was what was best for them if they wanted it. When we determine murder is a right we degrade women and lie to them. No way around it.

    David Duke Season

I am from Louisiana and lived in New Orleans for many years and had no idea about the complexity surrounding David Duke. I appreciate that the journalist is from the area, because so many people want to come and tell Louisiana stories who really can’t grasp what it means to truly be immersed in the culture. They get caught up in the folkloric atmosphere and forget that real, actual people live here, who aren’t just props for their message. This podcast is wonderfully researched and fair. The interviews are such high quality and give everyone, even the repulsive players, a chance to speak for themselves.

This got podcast of the year??

First it’s Apple trying to remove Twitter and now it’s this garbage that they’ve decided to elevate and make their podcast of the year? I don’t think Steve Jobs vision for this company was to turn it into a political pawn. Garbage podcasts like these are why we continue to be divided as a society. One side always blaming the other and painting them out to be evil. Are we not smarter than this? Sheeple at its prime

Amazing Factual Story of GOP’s Elimination of Women’s Rights

A fantastic historical look at how the Republican Party is methodically eliminating women’s rights, even to control what a woman can do with her body. Sobering and a must-hear podcast!

    Exceeded my expectations

I just finished season one covering Watergate and I can’t recommend this podcast enough. My initial interest was only in Watergate, but now I will listen to the other seasons. The depth, clarity and high production values make this a top notch podcast.

It has no voice to tell you how he/she feels but it needs it’s mommy. Maybe your not in a place right now where you can properly raise a baby, that’s okay there are millions of ppl out there who would love to adopt your beautiful baby! Abortion is murder and you don’t know how awful you will feel if you take that baby’s life. It will cause depression and a deep since of loss. Plz don’t take your baby’s life. Just think, that life that you just ended could have been the cure to cancer. That one life that you decided not to save could have very well saved millions 🤍

    Injustice Anywhere

This show was so well researched and engaging. I listened to seasons 6 and 7. Whether you’re a black man walking down the street minding your own business or a pregnant women who has a personal and private decision she doesn’t want to be anymore, these conservatives are coming for us all.

Great podcast but stop the false updates to drive traffic

Great podcast, but…..stop pushing out fake updates like there are more episodes when there are not. It’s annoying. It’s not right. It’s a form of gaming the system. The only reason for the 4 vs 5 is due to the “false” updates.

    Good podcasts

As always the left media can’t have any conversation with out brining up trump and their hatred towards him stick to the subject. Apparently if it’s a fetus it can die but calling it a baby is too far.

    Great podcast but annoying notifications

I love the podcasts across the seasons. It’s well researched and keep you tuned in. However, I hate how it sends you notifications about episodes from other Slate podcasts. It’s like weekly now so I just unsubscribed.

    Ultimate Field Trip

I heard Ronald Reagan speak & wasn’t instantly enraged. Some kinda black magic going on. I remember the shuttle disaster well. Loved the stories from the other teachers. Inspiring.

    Interesting but

Too much chatting ABOUT the episodes. A little backstory is fine, but it’s not what I’m here for. Otherwise, interesting and engaging first-person stories illuminating the larger topic.

Stellar reporting of a critical piece of women’s history and rights in America

This was a truly captivating season of Slow Burn and one that felt really timely given the recent Supreme Court action to overturn Roe. There is so much history here, and the episodes are thick with details, first-hand accounts, and documentation, yet it is woven together in a profoundly relatable and human way that honors the stories and experiences shared. It left me with the unsettling feeling of deja vu and a sense that we may have to dig into the Roe playbook yet again to secure rights that should have never been in question or politicized to begin with - the right to personal liberty, privacy, bodily autonomy. It’s clear over time that - to some - these rights were never considered inalienable for women. Thank you for this important work.
