This is a fantastic delivery from SEG!

It's about time we have something that we can listen to on the go. The material covers a diverse range of topics under the geoscience umbrella and I believe that those of different levels of interest in this field would have the opportunity to seek breadth in learning through these podcasts. I just informed my colleagues about this. Hope they'll find it enjoyable too.

Good Start

It is a good start! I can listen to the technical talk while I am driving or jugging! Sounds awesome! I just don't know why the order of the files are reverse with regard to time of upload? Is it the format of ITUNE?

A must-listen for any geoscientist

I started listening to Seismic Soundoff a couple of weeks ago, and I became inmediately hooked. What a great show! There is a phenomenal variety in the topics presented. It is a treat to listen to household names in the industry, like Kurt Marfurt, Jim Gaiser, Lev Vernik, among many others. And Andrew does a superb job as a host!Congrats Andrew and Isaac, keep up the good work!

Wonderful resource

This is a very nicely produced podcast with great information for those involved in the geosciences -- a one-of-a-kind resource in that particular scientific community, I would think.

Fascinating!

The SEG team has filled an important void by developing this podcast for the geophysics community. Further, the discussions are clearly cross-disciplinary, so anyone with an interest in the science and technology used to explore our world/universe will find the discussions interesting. I was pleased to discover that the discussion was in plain language... a background in geophysics is not a prerequisite to enjoy the podcast!

Senior Scientist

A big thanks to Andrew Geary and the other folks at SEG for this opportunity to talk about our work with building 3-D volumes of Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter Shallow Radar data for the Martian polar caps (Jan 18, 2017 podcast). We really appreciate the interest and support from our friends at SEG and in the industry.

Great variety

As a student, this podcast allows me to learn and hear from some of the top geophysicists in the industry and keep updated with SEG events. A great inspiration for me, especially the Women in Geophysics episode. I'm very excited to attend the Dallas Annual Meeting after listening to the preview.Looking forward to hearing more.
