Strap yourself in as Byrne and Wade take a look at the complex scientific issues, from time travel and black holes to the wacky world of animal sex, and debunk some junk Science along the way. Enjoy your Sci-gasm!
I’ve given up listening to sci-gasm when I’m in public .......I am that weird dude that’s got earphones in and laughing loud on public transport. These guys manage to cover a really wide range of interesting topics, while giving really good info and making it funny AF.The chemistry between the hosts (no homo) is fantastic as the bounce off each other and stay true to the Aussie way of slaying each other with hilarious insults. These are the types of blokes you’d wanna have a few beers with at the pub.Keep up the good work 👍🏼
An incredibly funny podcast with really interesting guest stars and a lot of great content. As a former science major I definitely appreciate getting to tune in and listen to what's new in the science community, and the dirty jokes make these topics a lot more interesting than my old professors ever could.
I really can't say too many positive about Sci-Gasm. Although not exactly a kid friendly podcast it is highly entertaining for us adults with broad themes every episode. In terms of science communication these guys are up there with Neil Degrasse Tyson and Bill Nye in regards of making some times difficult and complex topics much easier to understand. Sci-Gasm is one podcast I look forward to every week. I hope they keep doing this for many years to come.
This podcast sucked me in straight from the first episode, I was drawn to both the interesting topics that are tackled and the use of humour and charisma to express opinions. These two guys are only getting better and better with every episode and have developed a community of like minded listeners that I know have to converse with. They encourage listeners to pick any faults or misleading evidence and are more than willing to accept if they are wrong (rarely happens) will continue to listen and highly recommend!
It's so very important that young people become interested in the sciences. Wade and Byrne produce a great program that identifies with young people. It's fun and informative even for those of us who are older. Thought provoking and fun Sci-Gasm Podcast is a great way to expand on science topics while enjoying a laugh. Sci-Gasm is by far my favorite podcast.
