Can someone just tell Bill Simmons that this podcast is trash and it should be off the Ringer. Sounds like these guys are being held at gunpoint and being forced to talk. If you ever feeling like taking a midday nap just give this a listen.

Honestly

This is a decent podcast it just really feels like they have no clue how to talk about the league or the players in the league.. I’m not sure any of the personalities on this show besides Micah and maybe miles should be included in podcasts. Love the ringer. Love the Prem. Do not love Donnie on this podcast or this podcast when compared to basically any other premiere league podcast. Maybe talk more about Premiere League fantasy football. I imagine a soccer podcast from the ringer could really be quite good it’s too bad it’s just not that good and hasn’t progressed over the past couple years. And Donnie.. honestly just stop talking. You’re horrible in this.and 99% of the time sound a bit clueless on what is going on.. and I can garuntee u watch less soccer than anybody in this podcast.. it shows.

Uninformed at best.

New hosts regularly bring up topics and their points are based solely on talking points/headlines. There’s much better out there.

A Good Hang

An irreverent & fun conversation on world football with the writers at The Ringer. I would also say it’s a very American perspective of global soccer culture. As a lifelong watcher of US national teams and European club matches (and someone who’s still regularly mispronounces players’ names), this podcast always feels like a good hang with fellow American fans who love the game as it continues to evolve for a new generation. Props to Donnie & Micah for carrying the torch here from Chris & Ryan.

Man, I tried after Chris and Ryan left

Donnie, to quote Micah, “you are more than your productivity.” But I can’t listen anymore if episodes are going to be like the latest one, “Ten Burning Questions...” I like Donnie’s personality, but with him running the podcast you’ve left behind any kind of structure to hold things together and give purpose to the banter. With the XG god’s exit y’all lost any tether to analyzing soccer from a data perspective, and the show has slipped into who’s the better player and completely boring and useless predictions of the future, and too many tangents into soccer Instagram and fashion. I don’t mind the tangents, but y’all need to get back to the core of the podcast. Talk about the games, include stats and analysis (surely someone else other than Ryan is capable, too), include a diverse set of emotional reactions to the games, and leave the annoying punditry to the annoying cable pundits. Hopefully this comes off as constructive feedback. Wish y’all the best.

Downhill since the original host left

I really want this podcast to be better, but since Ryan O'Hanlon (original host) left it has been a struggle to get through an episode. The host gets facts wrong very often and seems ill prepared. I think he may be new to podcasting and figuring it out, but for the past 3-4 months the quality has really dropped.

WASTE OF STUDIO TIME

Donnie Kwak acts like a know it all but constantly gets his facts wrong! He brings no life to the podcast and he’s not a former player so I’m not sure why he has his own podcast! He's a casual fan at best and doesn’t provide insight but rather his flawed opinion on numerous topics in regards to soccer. I’ll never listen again to this podcast and it feels like the token Soccer show for the ringer! Find some true soccer junkies that can break down film and give an educated perspective on the sport or else this podcast is doomed to fail!

You don’t know what you’re doing

This is a lazy and uninformed podcast. Banter can be fun but team allegiances cloud any semblance of intelligent analysis.

Not the same without Ryan O’Hanlon

The guys can’t even pronounce players’ names correctly — a hobbyist pod at best.

Movie Spoilers

Why would you ruin the ending of Sicario 2 in your latest podcast? It’s a very recent release I was planning on watching and y’all ruined it!
